I didn't quite understand what you were trying to say from your post.

No one's TRYING to hurt her.

First time seeing her site, I saw nothing mentioning where she got it from. That is all.

I never said anything was wrong with it now, Did I?
I don't see anyone else being rude, other than that one post GP girl made.

Gee, As for people telling you that you copied your site, You never know until you post it.

Yes, Most everyone is very trusting on PT, although you were trying to be sarcastic with that -- it's true. :)

I think with links and credit and everything that's perfectly fine, but you also might want to email them and ask permission, just for peace of mind. Most people say yes, because they appreciate being asked, since most people don't.

ok everyone stop arguing. I did use spell check for the great dane site.. And I might still have grammer and a bit of spelling mistakes on there lol. But wahh.. :rolleyes: I will get my mom to read it over :)..

I have already quoted everything That I got from books ect.. Even look... So stop arguing..

Maybe because getting a great dane insired me to do research and talk to her breeders..

Jynelle, please take everyone's advice and listen up. Even if you change words around you still need to give credit. You didn't make it up, period. You read it somewhere. I am wondering how not too long ago you knew nothing about these dogs, and then now all of a sudden you know a breeder and have done all this research? :confused:

I noticed on your site at the bottom of your health issues page you remind people to get annual vaccines for their dogs to "keep them healthy".
I was just wondering if you knew that it's now being widely accepted to not get annual vaccines as it is believed that over vaccinating pets can lead to many immune deficiency(sp) problems. In fact vet schools in the states do not even recommend following a yearly vaccination protocol anymore. Instead they say every 3 years.

I just wanted to make you aware of this issue as you recommend it on your site.

wow I didnt know that!! :eek:... We get our dogs vaccinated every year, I read on a brochier{sp} from the vet that yearly vaccines are good to have.. humm.. I will phoen the vet monday and talk to him again..

Its actually just rabies that they switched to 3 years. All the other shots are still yearly here.

Actually it's not. Many studies are being done on the effects of yearly vaccines. And vet schools are now recommending that people get shots on a 3 year basis.

One other little interesting tidbit of info is that the one year and the 3 year rabies vaccine are the same vaccine, they just have different labels.

Oh and so you don't think I'm spouting off the top of my head I'm going to go find my links to articles on the subject :)

I believe this is what Cali is doing with her dogs (NOT to bring back an argument..) Kai's due for vaccinations soon..I will have to ask the vet about nosodes and titer testing.

I realize that SOME vets are recommending it, but it is by far NOT the norm AT ALL.

every day I leanr more and more about her breed, and I will always be learning more about it till There is nothing more to know. and trust me I still have a long way to go. I would have done years of research befor we got the puppy, but I didnt know we were going to be getting her intill my mom brought her over to wolfsouls to show me. I will always be updating my dane site for as long as great danes are in my life :).
