I'm a little tardy in this thread today.. back to the words that SOUND dirty... vasallate... ok I don't know how to spell it and aol spell check is not helping... and I can't find my dictionary!(dog ate it?) anyway I heard it on tv years ago and just cracked up laughing, of course the herbs might have made it more funny at the time. what I understand it to mean is, to hesitate, or to be unsure, to change your opinion... am I right? Mugsy? I mean, mrs....teacher!

What about sourpuss, that's also a word that sounds dirty. They used it often in older cartoons.. but now for some reason people don't use that word anymore.
