Richard - hope you really do get to come home today. I've been thinking of you and praying that you'll be back to your old self real soon. Get well and take care of yourself - ya hear???
And in anticipated celebration, I'll take champagne with a strawberry please, if there is anyone behind the bar besides Orc :)
I've put out the word to Orc to be on his best behavior too! :p
:( Yes thanks for the notation to read.. Richard you need to take care of the rest of your fingers & toes.. I will try the phone number in a bit & see if your still in the hospital & give you cheers ok.. Hope for fast healing & getting well soon.. Do you have a address that we can send you get well cards too??
I'd like to try a peep-tini in honor of gini's birthday and that dress!!! :D
:) Hey I Have Been On The Phone With Richard For The Past Hour.. He is still at the hospital But is being released as of now.. We had to hang up for him to fill out his dismissal.. It was a Great Conversation with him.. He is so Chipper & Happy Sounding.. He said he will post this afternoon when he gets settled at home..
So sorry I've been absent! Work ... well, let's just say it's a challenge and leave it there.
Richard, I'm so glad you'll be out of the hospital! :D
Doris, thank you for keeping us updated!
Barkeep! Please another round for the house, and a double Vodka/Diet Ginger for me. I know it's early, but, as I said, it's a challenge!
Orc!!! What happened to all those nice peep cookies from Elyse? Oh, don't go in the washroom? OH, NO!! Where are LOK and Pinot - you didn't give them any, did you???
hey kiddies!
I was released this afternoon and I am home.
It's a long story and I for the most part aand glad to be here and thankful for all your good thoughts and prayers and mostly for my friend, Doris. She saved my life. I had a very bad infection in my toes that had turned into a blood infection and a nasty looking foot.
I think the infection 'made' me diabetic and if that? I am borderline.
I want to thank LP for calling this afternoon.
We did have a wonderful conversation and she does have Texas in her voice and aviation in her heart.:D
I wish I could have taken my time and stopped along the way to visit some of the people along my path.
Maybe when I go back to pick up my stuff in storage later in the year I can make a more leisurely trip back here and fit in some of people and sites I want to see.
Thanks again for all your prayers and thoughts.
You all rock!
Yay Richard's back!!!!
Glad you're doing alright dude! You sure were missed around here. Now get Doris set up with her own user ID so we can chat with you both.
In honor of your return, we had a SNOW shower this afternoon! Yep, we're still seeing the white stuff, it's actually forecast to snow Friday.
:) Glad your home Richard & doing good.. Yes I so enjoyed the phone conversation we had today.. Now Now Richard you know My Cats are My Heart.. Aviation is just what helps me feed my babies..:D Now you get some rest & please dont try to do to much.. Gives that Ed lots of Loven..
Richard - so glad that you are home and on the mend. Hopefully you will follow doctor's orders. :p You really are pretty lucky to be here since a blood infection is no small issue - as I'm sure that you know now. I think that Doris is truly your savior. Thank you Doris for getting this stubborn guy the medical attention that he so desperately needed!!! Now keep him on the straight and narrow please! ;) I'm really up for a celebratory drink now.....
Here's to you both!!!
