I am so sorry that I've been out of the loop. But I'm glad I got here in time to wish you all the goodness for tomorrow. I hope Cincy will do great. I know you must be worried sick. I would. Please give her lots of hugs from me

Thanks again everybody! I dropped Cincy off about an hour ago. Now we just wait....
Just got a call from the vet's office. She is out of surgery, awake and doing well. They didn't share any details of how it went, but since last time the vet called me himself becuase he was concerned about what he saw,and this time the tech called, I'm guessing no real news is good news. We will know more when Ralph picks her up this afternoon.
I'm glad the surgery is over & hope Cincy heals up quickly. You can't
keep a good girl down.:)
I agree that no news is probably - hopefully - good news!
Cincy is home and relaxing. Surgery went well. They took a section about 4 cm wide and 6 cm long, down to bone/tendon depth. They used skin form around the area to suture the area and you would never know! It sealed up great and looks like it will heal up nice.
There was one small area of concern, but the vet was able to take enough tissue in all directions around it, he did not feel the need to send it out for biopsy.
She is stuck wearing a cone for at least two weeks and is supposed to take it easy for 1-2 days, but otherwise good to go. The area is double sutured and that comes out on Janurary 24th.
Thank you again for all the thoughts and prayers. They sure do work!
Hey, at least it's January, so it's too cold outside for her to want to be TOO active for too long.
Cincy, the "lowrider" song has been running through my head all day, because I think of you as the "lowrider Labrador!"
"All my friends
Love the low rider
Low rider
Gonna get a little higher!"
Work that collar for all the sympathy you can get, sweetie!
What lovely news for a Friday afternoon!
You behave Cincy - I know there are tons of treats waiting for you while you recuperate!
Good to hear things went well. Get healed up quickly Cincy!:)
Hooray for Cincy! I'm so happy that everything worked out so well!
Oreo sends wags and kisses!
Still sending pawrayers to Cincy!
Poor girl, 2 weeks in a cone is like, well, an eternity in dog years!
