http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...illyfritz1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...illyfritz2.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...cozylappy1.JPG Fritz out in the chilly 32 degree weather this morning and on Mom's lap before breakfast.The fire destroyed 4 businesses,either started in the basement or the main floor of the photo shop.Eight families are homeless,they lived above the businesses,have to be relocated ,lost everything.The roof collapsed,the exterior is fine,building was constructed in 1867,year that Canada was founded.they will rebuild and the Maple fest on the weekend is going ahead as planned.Mom's friend owns a ladies clothing store,it suffered water and smoke damage,she had a fire there 6-7 years ago.I have a thread in the general section called fire in Bowmanville and the video is still there, just click the website there in the thread.Fritz had a short snooze on Mom's bed before going with me last night,had his cereal this morning,been out in the cold air and is now resting upstairs,getting groomed today.Already had a play with his Monkey after being out in the fresh air.The video now moved to the other side of the site,in the video section fire burns in downtown Bowmanville.

Pretty chilly there eh Fritz? I wish we had those temps here but it is gorgeous here, I have to say. You look as cute as a button, buddy!! Always guarding the perimeter like a faithful good boy. You deserve all those meat snacks don't you? The meat is doing something for your coat. It couldn't look better.

Sorry to hear about the fire, Barry. That's awful. Fire scares me more than anything. I feel bad for those poor people. :(

Fritz, nice to see you have green grass these days. It's cold down here too. Bundle up, cutie pie.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...cozynappy2.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/.../spiffydog.JPG Fritz cozy in Mom's chair this morning and begging for toast,sporting his new scarf.Last night we had cookies,I also had a Peanut Butter and Jam sandwich,Fritz had some, wanted water,went out,slept under the couch and he went with mom when American Idol was on and snoozed beside her.He let me pick him up when it was over and I took him to bed,licked a bit not bad,he was tired from his day at the groomers.had cereal and toast from me,not Mom,he sat beside me in the chair then behind the couch and was dreaming I saw his tail wagging.He came out twice and went back,Mom gone for groceries.The Fire department was still downtown yesterday,hadn't been able to investigate the cause of the fire too dangerous,may have to tear it down which will be a sad thing to see as it is over 140 years old.

That's such a great loss to the town of Bowmanville to lose those buildings. The fire was so fierce, I can't see saving much of it. Landmarks and pieces of history will be lost.

Hi Fritz!

Just stopping in to say hello. Those photos above show your tail and I am so surprised at how FLUFFY yours is! None of the 'fluffs' here have a tail like that. You sure are one of a kind. Love the bandanna in red with the doggie bones, very nice!

Aren't you glad to have the snow gone? Now if it would just warm UP, huh? It'll come soon, just you wait and see. I remember Barry posted the flowers in your garden, so it is getting better.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...treatywait.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...cozynappy3.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/.../flipnappy.JPG Fritz waiting for Mom's toast this morning,curled up in the chair after breakfast and flipped on his back snoozing.Last night,wanted some water after having cookies,while i went to get that,i heard Mom laughing,he found my comb in the chair and had it under the couch,started to chew on it,gave him a bone to get it from him.He did the same thing the night before and I ended up finding another comb in the chair I had lost a few days previous.Sorry to say they are demolishing the Photo shop and the clothing store,too much damage to save it but mom's friend who has a ladies clothing store will have to hers repaired,they have put a remedy unsafe building order on it and the restaurant next to the photo shop,has to be repaired in a reasonable amount of time. That part of the main street still closed until demolition is done,probably in time for the Maple Fest tomorrow.Rainy and windy today.Fritz won't be going out too far today.Fritz had all his breakfast from us,barked at kids,and was sleeping on a blanket in Mom's bedroom when she went to the hairdressers.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...flipnappy1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...reatywait1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...2/duckydog.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...biggysmile.JPGFritz flipped over on the couch Friday afternoon,waiting for breakfast this morning,looks like he is ducking me in this one,I cut part of the shot off and on the back of the chair smiling.Fritz went to the bedroom,I was helping Larry load junk in the truck and clean up the garage,then go to the dump to get rid of it.Mom and her friend had as good time,no rain from 9 until almost 1 and rained rest of the afternoon.They had Pancakes and Sausage for $6,Mom bought a decoration for the back door will get a shot of that tomorrow,missed the dog show somehow.Lots of people downtown,go there early in case it rained,lots of cars parked on the side streets.We had Pizza from Dominos for supper ,good,Fritz had a little,he keeps asking to go the front door,too went and will get dirty,try and catch him and he thinks we are playing.He has had a chew on a water bottle,has slept under both couches,on the coffee table and in the chair.Gave him a dish of water and later took it to him on the coffee table where he drank some.Now under the couch snoozing.
