So help me the only sane place to be these days is here at the Thursdays.
At least we all get along very well. It must be the slushies and the clams.
KK - stop digging - I can see you coming up through my back yard.........and it isn't pretty:D
And speaking of slushies..........boy could I ever use one of those right now!
Don't worry! I'm not on a diet!!! But everything you eat makes up your diet and since onion rings aren't supposed to be good for you, I used it in my little poem! :DQuote:

Boy, do those onion rings smell good! I haven't had good onion rings for a long time. Could I have a giant slushie to go with my double order of rings? Karen. I agree with Gini, you made a lot of noise when you tunneled under Pittsburgh!!
Here KK here!! Quick, sit down next to Lady and Orange Kitty (when is that kitty going to get a name  ) and I'll bring you a plate. One plate of O-Rings (not from the shuttle) and an ear or two of Silver Queen White Corn on the cob with a side bowl of steamed clams, shrimp, scallops et al with PLENTY of melted butter. My goodness, at least brush the dirt off your hands first  MOFF, no such thing as the dreaded DIET at Thursdays, remember??
Gini, I'll give you a hand (or two!) cleaning after this crew. I'm stuffed with onion rings & slushies and I just heard a rumble as KK went by Pittsburgh!Quote:

Why don't we name him....."Okay"?Quote:

 Clams and bloody mary's!!! I'm in! :D
Make my mary hot of course, and perhaps we can saute a few of those clams with a garlic butter sauce. Some chili crab, could also work, and if Richard can wrap up some fruit (pineapple works well) with lobster tails in banana leaves before going in the coals, we should have quite feast. Now a Claire Valley Riesling will wash everything down well, or those who have a palate with a need for something more intense, I would suggest a Hunter Semillon.
............drools............... (I'm going to have to blame that drool on possum)
Sorry Connie I ate your share of onion rings :p (Well I had one and I was planning to fed the rest to orange kitty but Mario stole them! Naughty Mario! )Quote:

I love onion rings, too.
As for clams, I'll pass on those. Okay, I'll admit I've never had clams but the look of them....I'll pass! You can give me a nice order of shrimp and crablegs, though! YUM.
P.S. I make "the best" onion rings with purple onions. MMMMM!
