Sounds like you had fun with the ladies. What a little charmer. I don't understand how anybody can be afraid of you Fritz but I know that some people are afraid of all dogs. It maybe goes back to an incident in their life that wasn't pleasant.

Aunt Irene will love having the walker for help if she's like me. I can't seem to get rid of mine. I've got a pulled ligament now and probably need another surgery:(

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...2/cozytime.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...2/sillyboy.JPGFritz having a cozy time in Mom's chair this morning and laying down by the end table in the living room being silly.he looks to the front door to go,he can't because it is wet out there with the dew on the lawn or he gets into the flowerbed,now Mom has Geraniums she has just planted so going out there might be off limits.Mom heard what she though was fireworks and had me close my bedroom door in case Fritz heard it.After going to bed,he got down off the bed for a few minutes then wanted back up,so lifted him up and was quiet the rest of the night.he had my cereal and toast,some tea biscuit from mom,went out and then came in and had a drink.Fritz went to the bedroom to sleep,I had a lawn to cut up the street,then went to do my sister's while Mom went to the Oshawa Shopping Center.When I got back ,washed my car,kind of dusty and needed a vacuuming.Fritz now in the corner of the kitchen snoozing while Mom is making Rhubarb cake,a recipe she got from one of the ladies on Thursday night playing cards.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...atchdoggy2.JPGFritz watching me take the picture this morning,keeping the ladies,the Angel and Papa company.Last night he had some Rhubarb cake and some chips, wagged his tail for water,got down and had it,later wanted me to put it on the coffee table where he drank it.Fritz had a quiet night sleeping.When Mom was up during the night she heard me or Fritz snoring,probably me, I don't realize it.Had toast and cereal,wouldn't eat the toast from my hand,wanted it on the plate.You have have to grab him to get him outside,wants out the front,too et and there new geraniums in the flowerbed.he thinks you are playing and he runs away.I caught him a couple of times and he went out then.Now snoozing between the couch and the end table.Found out from my Aunt Maxine that her son,my cousin Dennis had a heart attack,went to hospital,now home. He will need a operation soon,it doesn't help that he is way overweight like my Aunt.

What a game player you are Fritz!! Such a very smart boy you are. We see you there with Papa again. You seem to be talking to him. Probably telling him all the latest news. How was the rhubarb cake, Barry? I've seen alot of people making rhubarb desserts on the Food Network lately. My thoughts and prayers to Dennis and family. I hope he recovers well after the surgery. Maybe the heart attack will be a wakeup call for him. His docotr will probably tell him to lose weight right away. Keep us posted.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...cozybeddy3.JPGFritz shaping up to get out of bed this morning.We had Steak and Potatoes for supper,cooked on the new barbecue,really good,Fritz had some steak,had some Asparagus in his dish before supper,Mom had it too,i am not crazy about it.Had Rhubarb cake and Black Cherry Ice cream for dessert,cake was really good also.He cleaned the plates after this. Fritz came down a little after we did last night,wanted some bones,had one,wanted water and had that and went out side.Went to bed when we did. and as soon as I went to sleep he gets down and goes to the kitchen,finished his food and had a drink,had to get bologna to pick him up and off to bed I took him where he had a good sleep.I was well after 7 when he got up,went to the window first,I got him there and put him out where he layed down.He came in after this and had the cereal and toast,first went behind the couch,then on Mom's chair where he is now.The Robins are not in the nest this morning,maybe are old enough to fly,now we have Sparrows in our Birdhouse next to the shed,so something else to watch out for.Thunderstorms later this afternoon,up to around 75-80 here with humidity in the mid 80's .cold front coming through with the storm and 63 tomorrow.Mom has a visitation to to to today,a friend's husband passed away on Friday,he had Alzheimer's.She had a heart attack 2 years ago,had has been in a nursing home since then,home for weekends the odd time,has been in our hospital for therapy for the last week or so.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...cozycarpet.JPGFritz having a cozy rest on the carpet this morning.Fritz had some of my Bologna sandwich for lunch,has some of a Grilled Cheese Sandwich for supper and Rhubarb cake for dessert.Other than that,all he has done is snooze in the window,on the carpet in the kitchen corner and now on Mom's bed,barking at the odd noise he hears.Mom has gone to a Roast Beef dinner along with 500 hospital volunteers at a hangar at the Oshawa Airport.Fritz will stay there until Mom comes home around in a half hour -45 minutes.

What cute pictures of you as always, Fritzie!! You are such a fluffy doll. You and that bologna......:D What an expert con man you are huh? It always works doesn't it? More great food there, Barry. I'm hungry now:)

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/.../cozytime3.JPGFritz having a cozy rest this morning in Mom's chair before breakfast.Fritz was ready for bed last night,snoozed under the little couch,came out when we went up and he went straight to my bedroom and picked him up and put him on the bed.Fritz wasn't long going to sleep,slept on the other side the bed all night and this morning before i got up he cuddled up right up to me.He was waiting to go out after i came in from putting out garbage and the recycling boxes,just laid there,then came in and was in Mom's chair.Fritz then had breakfast from us and I had to grab him to put him outside again.He was in the window barking at kids over an hour ago .Now Fritz is in Mom's chair.Mom going to a funeral this afternoon and right after that,to hospital gift shop.Larry goes Toronto Sunnybrook Hospital on Friday to see if he needs an operation for his breathing troubles.

Do you feel those kisses I planted on your head Fritzie? I couldn't resist.:) Be a good boy cutie pie.

After such a busy day, I can see you're getting in a good upside down nap, Fritz. Good for you. You look adorable in that pic and also the one with your stuffie. What a cutie!!:)

A frost warning? Oh my goodness:eek: I think it's 100 degrees here--well, maybe it feels like 90.

Fritz, do you remember those days when you were a little puppy? Back when you could fit under the couch with no problem. Like the rest of us, Fritzie, I think you've gotten a little too big to fit under there. Don't hurt yourself. Reese is adorable!! What a sweetheart. He looks like my daughter's Golden did as a puppy. They will really enjoy him.:)

Barry, what great photos! Reese is a total cutie and Fritz is such a camera star! I agree with Daisy and Delilah about the best wishes to Larry and also about the head kisses to Fritz! Mmwah!!!

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...2/shoeydog.JPGFritz with my shoe under the dining room table.i had been cutting a lawn,just came in from doing some trimming of plants and one of the little trees along the driveway.He then sticks his nose in it and rests his head on it.The shoe wasn't enough,he got a pair of my underwear from the laundry and took it under the table and used it as a pillow.Fritz ate all his supper,had some sausage we had for supper,cleaned my plate of Rhubarb cake and Vanilla ice cream for dessert.Had a play with the Monkey after supper,sat in the window,got warm and went to the cool corner in the kitchen.Had a snooze under the little couch down here,came out when we had Cranberry and Orange loaf .Had his drink of water,been out,no won back of the chair having a Iams bones,given two,doesn't want to eat them,is wagging his tail and barking at them.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...atchdoggy6.JPGFrit watching out the front window this morning,it was too early to see any kids yet.Last night,he got under the big couch in the rec room,was whining ,probably wnated out,i tried to coax him out,he didn't like that,he growled as if he might bite.Fritz did come out on his own,a little tight squeeze and he went to the little couch.The hockey was over,lights were off and he was still there,he did come up and went under my bed to start and after I came to bed ,he was on the bedspread so picked him up and on the bed he went,had a fairly quiet night,still bites at his paw.Fritz goes Monday to the vets,will only be getting one needle,not the two he usually got that got him sick,it will most likely be the vet that Taffy sees Dr.Hooger,Marlene has been there with her and mentioned Fritz's problem,he knows all about it.Mom talking to the Aunties today,Irene doing pretty well,is a slow process,will come here when she is able to travel.Cousin Dennis is fine,waiting on a operation.

Thanks for the big laugh, Fritz. Barking at the bones--you silly boy!! I am picturing you carrying that big shoe under the table. That must have been a riot. The shoe is half your size. Then you grabbed a pair of undies for a pillow? :D:D:D You really crack me up!!! Maybe next time, you'll just go into the bedroom and drag one of the pillows off the bed and a blanket for cover. You are so funny. Always so entertaining and keeping things going around there.:)

I hope you do well at the vet this time with only one needle. We don't want you sick again. I'll keep Auntie Irene and Dennis in my prayers, Barry.

Awwwww.....poor Taffy. You're a sweet girl, cutie. You and Fritz look good in your pictures. A couple of camera lovers for sure.

I'm glad Larry doesn't need more surgery, Barry. Heaven knows it's not any fun.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...cozybeddy5.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...cozybeddy6.JPGFritz all fours in the air snoozing this morning,still there after 7,didn't get his usual naps in with Taffy here yesterday.Apparently there was Thunder and Lightning last night according to Larry,Taffy was wouldn't settle down,didn't bother Fritz any.Larry has a a sore arm today, put dye through him to see if there were any blockages.He is not to drive for two days but drove from Toronto yesterday and is again today getting flowers for Mom from his Brother-In-Law.Had some rain this morning,sun shining right now,in the 70's,Larry's birthday today ,he is 59,not doing anything special,probably next year,he will be 60.Fritz had his breakfast,is still afraid of the dish,stands as far as he can away from them.Last night,wanted water and had to take it to him near the stove,wouldn't go near where it was sitting. He is in Mom's chair snoozing now.

Oh my goodness, Fritz!! The goofiness continues. Why are you scared of those dishes? Daisy is scared of any dish that moves when she's trying to eat out of it. I had to get her heavy ceramic dishes. Don't be scared, buddy. Those dishes won't hurt you. You look so cute with all fours up. Get a good nap!!:)

I hope Larry will take it easy and not drive too much on his birthday.

Fritz, you remind me of a fluffy baby lamb. I love that lamb coat. I call Delilah my little lamb. You look adorable and I'm glad you're keeping your monkey company. Have a good night and be good!!:)

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...2/cozyboys.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/.../kneesitty.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/.../boneyhide.JPGFritz having a coy time with his Monkey on Sunday,sitting on Mom's knee and under the coffee table last night,He had a full tummy from his supper,some Ham Steak and Lemon Pie,later a scoop of Orange-Pineapple Ice cream then cleaned my dish and a little bit of a cone from Mom.he wanted some Iams bones,wasn't hungry,went and buried one in Mom's chair,went all over with another one on the back of the chair,the little couch,big couch,finally hiding it in some books under the coffee table,still there now.Last night,followed me to bed,then under my bed he went,came out was going to lift him up,he went to Mom's bed.Fritz wasn't there long when a truck backfired and he got into barking,then heard or saw someone walking and into it again,so got Bologna and off he I took him and he had a good night sleeping,flipped on his back this morning.He had his breakfast,been out and came in had a drink,has been with both of us,had a play with his Monkey and was out again when I was watering flowers.Goes today for his needle at 12:30,hope it all goes well.Marlene,my sister had a fall on Saturday.She was out buying flowers with Larry ,around and stepped into a puddle,there was slime in it,she slipped and went down,glad Larry was there to help,shouldn't really have lifting,has a sore due to the dye they put in on Friday.She is sore but otherwise fine.They took her name and number if she didn't feel any better,she good to go to church yesterday.Mom going with her church unit tonight for supper,it's a surprise,no one knows where,the lady that knows isn't saying.Rain tomorrow,by Friday,supposed to be 85-90,we will see what happens,just about as warm as Florida is now.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...ozynappy10.JPGFritz snoozing on the couch late this afternoon.Fritz was a good dog at the vets today,didn't say a word when he got his two needles,hope there is no bad reaction to it.Since last June,Fritz has gained about three quarters of a pound from 19 pounds even last June to 19.8 this June.Had some Ham steak from me at supper,had some Lemon Pie for dessert.Fritz is snoozing on Mom's bed waiting for her to come home from her dinner outing with her church group.Tomorrow is his big day and Mom's,he will be 6 years old,hard to believe it has been that long,we have had him since August 8,2002.Mom got him some Benadryl to help with his licking,if it don't work,the vet will trey something stronger.

Awwwww!!! What a good boy you were at the vet, Fritzie!! You brave little guy. I love the pictures of you smiling. Your monkey is adorable too. You two have similiar characteristics. Be a good boy!!:)

Poor Marlene and Larry. They're having a rough go of it.

Perk up, Birthday Boy !!! I'm so sorry you're not feeling well, buddy. I know the Aunties calling you and Mom was one of the big highlights of your day. Feel better!!!:(

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...cubbyhole4.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/.../boneytime.JPGFritz in his cubbyhole tonight under the little couch and earlier chewing on a bone,had been upstairs barking at some thing outside.He had a quiet ride on my to the groomers, just before getting there,he put his paws over my arm and sat like he does when he begs for something.I carried him partway in,tail was already going.I put him down at the door going down,jumped at the door,then pulls me down the stairs,jumps at another door where the groomers two Collies came to greet him,one greeting me too,Fritz greeted his groomer Michelle also.He was quiet there,think had a sleep in a cage.Fritz is feeling better,now,barked at the paper an today, had his supper some from us which was Perogies.He stayed upstairs a little bit tonight,starts barking so took a Iams bone a couple of time ,he came down after the second time.had some ruffles chips tonight,had some water,wanted it given to him,he got down from the table and had it,is under the couch now,will be there until hockey is over maybe around 20-quarter to 11.

Look how fluffy and clean you are Fritz!! You're the fluffiest boy in Bowmanville. Glad you had fun at the groomers. Stay cool. Sounds like a heat wave coming through.:)

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...siestatime.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...pokeyhead2.JPGFritz having a siesta next to the chair we had a snack of Grilled Cheese sandwiches,Mom had to go early to do some canvassing for Community Care,later after she was back we had a Pizza from Little Caesar's,it was good Fritz did too.Later on when Fritz came down,he got under the big couch after having a Iams bone,then he starts whining,probably wanted out,I tried to coax him out,he stayed and he did comer out on his own after a bit of time.Then Fritz went to the little couch and was under the blanket,had a snooze and made a mess,then popped his head out smiling in the picture.Close to 11 last night,it started lightning and thunder,then some rain,Fritz sat up panting so I took him to his bed down in the laundry room,he barked a bit,soon quieted down,Mom was fast asleep never heard a thing,Marlene and Larry didn't either,probably Taffy heard it,she doesn't like storms.had his breakfast,went out before that,was in Mom's chair before he ate,he is now behind the couch.Supposed to be around 90 today which would be a record for this date, to feel like 104 with humidity and there is a chance of Thunderstorms today through Sunday due to daytime heating.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...42/cozyboy.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...iestatime1.JPGFritz curled up in the window this morning and snoozing on the window ledge.Fritz snoozed under the little couch down here when we went to the party,put the gate up so he couldn't get upstairs and bark,he was a good boy,had one bathroom mishap ,other than that he was fine.It was a good party,it was a little warm with other a 100 people in the community center,it was not a big spot,music was a little ,we sat up front,gave me a headache,it went away.All kinds of prizes were given away,no luck,come close twice,someone $11 in the 50/50 draw,Larry won $115 in another contest,donated the winnings to the Jon and Loretta which was nice.Had a late lunch near the end,that was good.Got to bed around 12:30 this morning.Fritz had a good sleep,had cereal and toast after being in the window,now behind the couch.Another warm one today,around 86,feeling over 100,chance of thunderstorms,same tomorrow and cooling off by Tuesday around 72 with showers.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...2/cozyboy1.JPGFritz having a cozy time in the window this morning.Around 2 this morning,he was warm and got out of bed,went to the dining room,got him water,then I went back to bed.I waited a few minutes and went back he was still by the dining room table,pushed the dish to him,he moved away,so left him there.He ended up with Mom for a little bit and ended up back in my bedroom on the bedspread then layed on the carpet.There was a tornado watch her Sunday,nothing developed,a funnel cloud was spotted north of Toronto.A thunderstorm watch is now on here,so will see what develops,Fritz ahas already barked at the cement plant blasting.Had his breakfast,has snoozed in the kitchen and behind the couch,had some Bologna sandwich with me and parts of a Strawberry Ice Cream cone from us.Supper is either going to be Kraft dinner or Sausage and Caesar Salad.
