That's more like it!
Not the best Orange outfit I can put together, but this is from Halloween at work last fall.
Love it Amy, just love it!
What? No one has posted yet?
Needless to say I was NOT happy that Tony wrecked and Denny went back to 6th position:( I am happy that Jeff won though. I've always liked him.
This is the way that MARK says the race should have finished...

But I think there should be a little switch;)
Glad you got to come up and watch the race with us Robin...make sure you don't come again....I'm tired of Tony wrecking every time you do:p:D
Ohhh, that picture is even sweeter to me now! Dream on folks!Quote:

You know I have to tease ya, Girlfriend. Love ya! :D
At least it wasn't Hendrick cars.....
So who else will be listening to Kevin Harvick co-hosting Tony's show on Sirius tomorrow night?
I'm planning on listening to it or at least part of it. But tonight starts Dancing With the Stars too. So my attention will be divided.
Do any of you listen to team communications during the races? I watch the race on TV, have one computer going with Kasey's team going, and then also listen to the officials channel on my laptop. I do that with RaceView. Last year I subscribed to DirecTv's thing, which I can't recall the name of at the moment, but I couldn't stand it. I do like how Sirius does the driver channels, but they never have Kasey, so I don't bother listening to it unless for some reason I can't be at home with the computers.
When I am at home, and can sit and watch the race (which hasn't happened as much as I would likethis year!) I have Tony's scanner on the computer.
In the car, I sometimes just stick to the radio broadcast, because it gets annoying losing what is going on just, to hear them say "clear", but I flip over if it seems like something may be going on.
At the race, I rent a scanner (Sprint Fan View is awesome!) and program in priorities Tony, Denny, Kyle, Bobby and a 5th...at CA it was the offical's channel so I could keep up with what they were talking about with the weather.
For some reason I couldn't get the Sirius boombox to power up tonight. Of course. How was the radio show?
Man, I was hoping you could tell me if they talked about the race at the start of the show. I turned it on in time for the first pull. Ouch!!! We listened for about 1/2 an hour and it was brutal! Very funny!!! Lots of mean jokes, each pull looked like a small dog (or so they say), and all told they are predicting him to be down 15lbs!
A few years ago we saw Tony at a Cincinnati Migthy Ducks Hockey Game and during one fo the intermission's he was "fighting" with the mascot. The Duck pulled his shirt over his head, and all I can say is...they had a lot of work to do tonight!!
And where is your right hand in this picture?Quote:

Mark says "Tell him to leave that boy alone!"
First race in a several years that didn't go to at the speedway here. And I survived.
The smile on his face looks like the calm before the wedgie. :eek:Quote:

Moesha,
Don't worrry, you'll have withdrawls soon enough! :D
Did you hear the replay of Tony's show from last week? I heard it was going to be on when I was in the car and then forgot to bring the Sirius in the house. Missed it twice!
No, I took Friday and today off, so I haven't driven my car since Thursday, and didn't realize it was on again. There is a clip or two on Nascar.com from the show.
One afternoon last week, Carl Edwards was ont he afternoon show. He was in the Sirius studio in NY, and inthe office of Tony's producer. Allegedly, the "pelt" was hanging on the door! Moddy was asking him questions about it, and he was refusing to look at it! Can't say I blame him.
Who-Hoo!!! Tony cut his hair!!!
Tony Stewart - Harried at Martinsville? Not This Year
ATLANTA (March 26, 2008) – Tony Stewart comes into Martinsville (Va.) Speedway relaxed and refreshed after a rare off-weekend on the 38-race weekend NASCAR Sprint Cup Series schedule. The driver of the No. 20 Home Depot Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing is also a bit more aerodynamic, for the long hair he had sported since the end of last season is gone. Stewart’s mane looks more like it did when he was a rookie in 1999. Perhaps prompting the retro style was the sting of having his back waxed, as Stewart underwent the painful process in the name of charity.

He sure needed that mess cut! Glad he did it.
Kyle, Kyle, Kyle.....
Gotta love the short tracks!
Good run for Kenny Schrader and Chrissy Wallace.
But thankfully we don't gotta love Kyle. LOL

Prelude information is now at Nascar.com New additions this year... Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Burton. So far, David Reutimman, Mike Wallace and JPM are the only two I didn't see listed that were there last year. Two months from today...can't wait!
What luck will KB have this week?

Why don't the drivers flash their headlights to pass on a short track?

I caught it via Yahoo news Amy. Wow that was crazy!!!

Dude, that was a wreck.
-------------------------
I am still not convinced that the COT is a 'safe' car.
It looks like the drivers need to be not as aggresive when trying to correct a slide.- they still have to adjust to the new car and the handling.
I can't stop watching it...I am just amazed!
It reminded me of Tony Stewart's 2001 Daytona wreck, and the 1998 Michael Waltrip wreck at Bristol ( the way the car broke apart).
Tony Stewart wreck 2001 Daytona 500
Waltrip at Bristol
And in looking for Michael Waltrip's, I found this one from Bristol Practice 2002, Mike Harmon. I have never seen a car break in half like this!
Bristol 2002
OKay, last one. I had never seen this. Kenny Schrader flipped on a road course (Sears Point 1999). I just never though t of it happened ona road course...
1999 Sears Point
That was one wild crash! I'm still just amazed they can crash like that and get out of the car and walk away
So far so good....Quote:

I feel the need to jump in here and say that you race fans are nutty! I drove by the Texas Motor Speedway on Friday and thought that I was going to die! Traffic was awful and I was surrounded by GIANT SUVs with NASCAR stuff all over them and even more GIANT mobile homes that made my minivan look like a Geo Metro :) I must say though that the excitement was palpable for miles either way even while I was sitting in bumper to bumper traffic :D :D
Thanks for the compliment!!
