I hope Lacey will be doing better soon. That is so great about you and your husband staying home for her. :) I'll keep thinking of her, and hoping for a speedy recovery.
I made this for you! :)
Thanks again everyone! Yes, Lacey is Daddys girl! :) He is being a great nurse. Tomorrow is Laceys vet visit. Her leg is still swelled but seems to be improving, much too slowly for us though. :( Here is a picture of her legs/feet from last night just before we went to bed. It is still swollen from her incision down to her toes. :(

aww poor sweetie! I hope she feels better soon! :) ((hugs))
Wow, that really is swollen. Good luck tomorrow, I will be thinking of Lacey.
I am so sorry. I don't get here a lot lately so I didn't know. Please kiss that leg for me. I hope she gets well really quickly. I wish you good luck with the vet.
Oh lacy get better soon.. :)
Praying that sweet Lacey recovers soon. Boo boo leg kisses.
I edited this because I realized she had ACL surgery. If it's any consolation, my Cody had ACL surgery on both knees. Once they have it on one, the other knee goes because they favor it. I kept him gated in our family room because there's a door with no steps for outies. I took off work for 1 month and lived in the family room with him. I know how you feel. It looks pathetic but somehow they understand their limits-better than people. Cody's knees were all bandaged to the thigh but I could see his foot was also swollen. I made a big soft bed on the floor and somehow he made himself as comfortable as could be. Cody also, from birth, had degenerative arthritis in his hips, poor baby. But with Rimydel and vitamins, massages, he lived to be almost 12 and was pretty active. I just wanted you to know that I totally feel your pain. It's so devastating. But with all your wonderful love and prayers, I'm sure darling Lacey will recover. It just seems like it takes forever. {HUGS}
Ohh Annette poor Laceys leg looks so uncomfortable :(. Continuing good vibes on the way for your special girl.
Oh my!!!! OUCH!!
Please get better soon honey!!
Ohhh look at that poor leg:( I hope it's not hurting her too much.
Sending good vibes for the vet visit today.
Sending positive thoughts and prayers out to you Lacey. Murph's been through the knee surgery thingy too and says he really sympathizes with ya. It's no fun attall, he says. He's sending you a lil' terrier tail wag to help you feel better.

Oh no, I didn't see this!:( I hope you're feeling better Lacey!:(
Thanks everyone, it means the world to me that so many people are concerned about Lacey. Her vet visit went well, she will stay on her antibiotics until they are gone Sunday and then go on a different kind for a week. The swelling on the top half of her leg is about gone but the bottom half has only improved by maybe 25%. :( Our vet feels it will just take a little longer to go down.
Lacey goes back in a week to get her staples out from her surgery. Hopefully her leg will be a little better each day.
Thanks again! :)
