Our first cat, a Russian Blue, was named Daiquiri. My youngest daughter named him because his green eyes reminded her of her favorite treat at Baskin Robbins, Daiquiri Ice.

ooohhhhh, poor poor poor Max and Tom are now somewhat upset that they have such 'plain' names (probably nooone will vote for them :( :( ). they are seriously thinking of filing a suit with Cat Court - so any advice from Groucho would be appreciated!
So, to my favourites. okay, maybe this is a combination of kitties and hoomins but my own favourite is Loud Lou and the Beans.
Catty-wise, i adore 'Moose the Magnificent' - that boy is such a big honey with a fabulous name too!! :D :D
I have a Chloe, Tucker and Believe it or not. My husband named our FEMALE calico MOPAR after his car. Poor girl. :D She doesn't seem bothered by it??
Oh yeah...about 25 years ago we had a cat name "Y"! You should have seen some of the looks I got when I called him to come in. He was named for the perfect letter Y on his chest. :D
I love some of the names on this thread and may steal one to name the young tom I rescued last year. His name is...Tom. I couldn't come up with anything else when I took him to the vet.
I do have a L.O.S., which I haven't seen before. Perhaps you can guess that it's an acronym for Limb of Satan? It suits her too.
My friend from Iran saw me scoop a feral kitten out of a trap and named her Shahdee, which I think means something like "precious gift" in Farsi. She was a beautifully sleek tabby with kohl rimmed hazel eyes, and the name suited her well.
Seshat was a colour point Siamese, a foster turned own cat when she tested FLV+, and she was named after an Egyptian goddess of libraries and the art of writing.
We had a female polydactyl cat that we named Dali, because she was a tuxedo with a little black spot under her chin that looked like a goatee. :D
BWAHAHA awww, that's cute! Really :DQuote:

My least common cat names are Raisin and Sundae. There was also my RB cat, Scampers, that name isn't too common either, though it seems like it should be.
Two of my favorite PT cat names are Rumor and Smitten.
Some other names of cats I know are- Bigglesworth, Two Toes (named because she has 2 extra toes), Can Can, Crush, Loki, Punky (full name is Punky Brewster, she's a calico), & Cricket. I know there more cats I know with unique (or at least less common) names, I just can't think of them at the moment.
How about Esmeralda?Quote:
