Hehe, I'll give it a shot I guess...I sound funny! And I had NO clue what to say...but since I don't know all of you in real life I guess it doesn't matter!;)I'm young...don't blame me!:p

Oggyflute, I really donot have a typical Kiwi accent, mostly because I was brought up with the Aberdonian Scottish Dialect all my life.

Even I can pick a real Kiwi accent, it is quite distinct as you put as are some Aussie accents, for instance you guy's say sex instead of Six, fish and cheeps instead of fish n chips.

I too alway's thought Canadians and American's sounded the same, my American boyfriend told me how to pick a Canadian, correct me if I am wrong they usually say OOT and ABOOT, instead of out and about, of course it probably depends which part you are from.

people say the North Islanders in NZ sound different to the South Islanders.

I believe thats the FRENCH canadians LOL, I'm Canadian, I didn't say that;)Canadians say "EH!" alot! LOL! Take me for example! :D
