I'm so sorry!

I wanted to share with you that I went through something similar with my poodle, Pepper. We 'bought' a few extra weeks with him with medicine and then he did let me know when it was time to let him go. I cherish that time I had with him and I'm thankful to have been given such a wonderful gift. I pray this time with Clarice will be the same for you and your family.

I just found out the news and I am so heartsick for you. This is one of the hardest things that can happen. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you spend time with Reecie and decide what to do. I know she's very special to you and I can only imagine how much you are hurting. I still remember the first time you showed me pictures of your cats on AIM. They are so precious and so apparently loved.

My heart is with you Tonya :(

Sometimes a little extra time gives you a chance to come to terms with the situation. Although it is very hard on you, if Clarice is not in pain and enjoys her extra time, then that's great for her. A few weeks will seem longer to her than it does to you.

We'll be thinking of all of you over the next while. Good luck.

I am glad the Dr. could give Clarice something to make her
more comfortable. Bless her heart.

Oh Tonya, I'm so sorry to hear about Clarice. :( I hope it will comfort you to know that she has had a great life with you for so many years. :) It will be so very hard to say goodbye, but still, better than let her suffer. I'm sure she will let you know when it's time.
