Poor Josephine! It's hard to belive she got all that kitties in her tummy! No wonder she looked pitiful. What a great job she did.
Congratulations they all look so precious! :D
Oh Kim, thank you so much for sharing those precious pictures of Josephine giving birth. Seven babies. Wow poor exhausted girl.
I am so glad you were with her to help out.
Wow... seven! I guessed six at least. Glad they made it here safely!
How I love those dilutes... just like my RB girl, Pookie!
What gorgeous little kitties!
Ummm Richard...be thankful for the knowledge that your mom didn't have to..... ummmm....clean you up like the other species do!  Yuck....but it does help milk production! :DQuote:

good feeling, huh?
I have never seen the birth moment before but I have FEEL it before! yees, two little kittens were born ON me while I was sleeping! (no, I couldn't feel them birthing but the queen sure moved a lottt). :)
kim! kim! any names on them yet!? I see a few people who don't like naming them when they are so little but maybe you do!
Good job Kim! The whole family looks super! And Josaphine is likely a great mom because she has had a few litters before- she is well experienced in motherhood! (The staff at Aniimal Rescue League mentioned to me once that they took in a mother cat with 11 kittens- the highest litter count they'd ever heard of- then said the more litters a cat has, the higher the survival rate, so the more kittens in each litter!). Kim, are any of your cats or Tabitha at all aware of what is going on in THAT part of the house? Do they hear kitten mews yet? Or smell special smells?
Yes, Tabitha is well aware ... because she has been booted out of 'her' nursery!:( She is doing great out in the rest of the house with the others, but she still squeals at the door to come in for nursing time! Can't have her getting out of the earlobe habit!!! ;) :DQuote:
