Who's that in your signature that's all looking like Biddy? (jenluckenbach)

I like the white chins!

Why, Rose, that's Herselfness, the one, the only Grasshopper Magicat Shadowcat!!!! Like Ritzy, the one and the only in her home, anyway!! Yep, how 'bout those white-chin Tuxies? Now we'll have to start a bunch of Tuxie subCATegories for where their white is located and how much of it they have!! She falls into the ascot, tummy, gloves and boots variety LOL!!Quote:

And BTW, she is a BIG Ritzy fan, and a definite Biddy double!! In fact, she purrs approval everytime a Tuxie face is on my screen!!
But she doesn't discriminate: she hisses at any cat who comes too near her turf equally!!
Of course, I have to include this: http://catoftheday.com/archive/2002/August/14.html

No Ritzy retrospective would be complete without her original introduction into the pettalk hall of fame...this is a much younger Ritz, from may 8, 2001...the picture was actually taken about 8 months prior to that.

Tuxie, how old was Miss Ritzy in this pic?
I ask because Grasshopper was not much smaller when I fist met her, which is why I almost didn't bring her home  ! I remember telling Annie "That's a cat, not a kitten!"
She was three months at the time. Wow, have I changed!!!!

Yes, Barry White-cat purring would probably rattle all our fillings loose!
Miz Ritz is about 6 months old in her COTD picture. She was, umm...a bit more "svelt" than today's miss :). In that picture, she was sporting a major kitty 'tude'...like "take that camera out of my face or lose it!"
Kohala, I can't believe I missed Grasshopper as COTD! She is a beautiful kitty (as are all tuxies), but I didn't know she was 16. As you probably know, Tubby is my tuxie wannabe and he's 16 1/2 now, and doing good just like Grasshopper. :)
Shes showing signs of aging, but she enjoys her quiet life with us! She seems a little arthritic in her hips, Dadcat thinks, we have had to adjust her food a little, and shee seems a little bony in the hips but otherwise she's still my loving "kitten." I can't say if she sleeps more, 'cause, let's face it, cats always sleep!!!!Quote:

Tubby is getting a little arthritic too, I think. He can't jump as good as he used to, so my dad made a a little box that I put at the end of the bed to help him jump into bed. Something like that might help Grasshopper too. :) And he seems stiff when he first wakes up from a nap, and the first couple of steps are a little shaky, but once that's over with, watch out because he might just run you over on his way to the food dish. ;)
LOL!!!!! Or, in Grasshopper's case, trip you as she "herds" you towards the kitchen!!Quote:
