Well, that was short lived. I took Allie to the ER cry last night, where she was admitted. Her fever was back to 104.6, and she was dehydrated, despite having 3 days of fluids administered sub q.

I am waiting on internal medicine to call back after a ultra scan. When I called at 1015, her temp was back down to 102.5.

Poor Allie! Still in our prayers.

It is cancer. I am so sad. Not sure what kind yet, so I don't know treatment options. But, frankly, none of my experiences with cancer in cats has been positive.

I´m so sorry... hope whatever kind it is it stills give you time with precious Allie..

and at least gives you options of what to do.. ((hugs))

Oh, no. I'm so sorry. I'm holding out hope for a treatment.

Johanna, you have my prayers that Allie can be treated and you will have her for many more years. Also, some prayers are offered for you..........you have had a lot on your plate since I have known you through Pet Talk with your animals.

I'm so sorry that it was not a good news update. My prayers are with you at this time, as I know you struggle with a decision of where to go from here. Only you know what's best for Allie, and you will do what's best for her.
