I found a lady who had an accidental litter. Actually today I was lost and drove right by the hosue where we got Nicki. I was half tempted to see if they still lived there and might have another accidental litter of a pup related to my sweetheart :o I haven't been in that neighborhood in a good 8 years.

Daisy was from a friend and it was an accidental litter. Delilah was adopted from an elderly lady whose husband was put into a nursing home. Delilah was his dog and his wife was left to care for her dog as well as Delilah. It was too much for her so I answered an ad in the paper for a Mexican Chihuahua for sale. I still have the ad and I laugh at it every time I see it. I didn't care much for her barky larky demeanor so I almost didn't take her. She turned out to be one of the best dogs I've ever owned or known in my entire life. She's such a sweetheart!! :) Of course, both of my girls are sweethearts ;)
With time and training, Delilah has changed her barky larky attitude :)

Roxy was adopted from the local shelter on her last day (:() and Lily was bought from a Pom breeder.

Hunter - a rescue group
Savannah - a friend of a friend found her injured downtown. She couldn't keep her because she lived in apartment that didn't allow pets. It was either us or the shelter.
Nikka & Bear - Our old next door neighbor. (The guy shouldn't have pets) I know Nikka was the result of an accidental breeding originally, not sure about Bear.

I got Jasper at the shelter. Star and Wilbur are from a private rescue. :)

Sully, my blue heeler, came from a ranch. BUT...I have taken some animals out of the local animal control because the conditions were HORRID and placed them myself in loving responsible homes..I will Never ever buy another dog again. I will adopt from now on... :)

Georgia & Alaska both came from breeders. Buddy came from an abusive neighbor, supposedly a BYB. One day Buddy was taken to the pound and my parents went and got him for my birthday :) So I guess he came as a stray/shelter dog/BYB
