Dear Annette,
I have been thinking of you and Mandy a lot since I first read this yesterday morning. It tears me up inside when I think about her and all that she'd been through, and I can't imagine how you are feeling now. If there is anything I can do for you please don't hesitate to ask.

I thought I had replied earlier I guess not . I am sending you lots of prayers. Glad we got the scarf done when we did so you can still cuddle with her . You had lots more time with her than the doc's all predicted many more memories. HUgs

I was so hoping that your sweet little Mandy was going to be able to win this fight, but I guess it wasn't meant to be:(
This just breaks my heart and I'm sorry but I can't find any more words, just know I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

I can't believe I didn't see this thread!!!!!
Oh my gosh.. :(
Rest easy, Mandy, you sweetheart! All of us at PT love you and miss you, just about as much as your mommy!

OMG, I'm so very sorry! I went to dog General looking for an update on Mandy and couldn't find it and just happened to pop in here. I'm so shocked and saddened by the news.
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Rest in Peace sweet Mandy. You will be missed. :(

I have been trying so hard to reply to all of you. I cannot thank you all enough for all of the kind words, prayers and well, just being there for me. It means the world to me. My hubby has also been following this thread.
We are just taking it one day at a time. We got Mandys ashes back yesterday. I thought I would be upset but I was so happy to have a part of her with me. We never had a dog cremated before and are at peace with the decision.
Lacey is missing Mandy. That is so hard, how can you explain to her what happened to Mandy? All she knows is we rushed her off late one evening and came back in the middle of the night without her. :(
Mandy put up a brave fight. After she was PTS, I was telling the Emg. vet (who was the sweetest ever) that I should have just put her down when I first knew she had this. She said "no, you did the right thing, trying to save her, you never could have lived with yourself if you didn't"
Thank you all again. {hugs} Annette

I'm so very sorry to hear of your loss. :( I didn't see the thread about her being sick until now. Mandy was such a sweet, loving dog, I know she meant so much to you. She's lucky you found her, she couldn't have asked for a better home and a great life. {{hugs}}

Annette, I'm glad to hear that you've gotten Mandy's ashes back. It does put you at rest knowing they are home where they belong.
Lots of loving {{{HUGS}}}

Oh Annette, I don't know what to say...:(:( I can't believe Mandy's gone, she was such a special and beautiful girl! I lost a dog when he was 5 too, and I just couldn't get over that he was way too young to die...it was horrible! So I know how you feel, and I am SO sorry from the bottom of my heart...I'm so sorry...:(

Thank you all so much. If only all of you could know how much your caring means to me. I found myself this morning, very upset, wanting to hug Mandy, just one more time. :( And here this evening trying to read through some threads and making a few posts and just can't believe that 'my' pup is in a memorial siggy. :(
