We watched The Crucible in school, not that bad but not the best either, it bored me a bit. :p I saw House Bunny like two months ago, it was really stupid and not that funny either. Not what I expected. I can't wait to see Marley and Me!! :D

Horton Hears A Who. What a fun, fun movie! Definitely a must see. I laughed so stinkin' hard, especially the scene when the Mayor gets the dental shot in his arm, hahahahahahahahahaha.
I forgot about this thread! I FINALLY got a hold of a copy of Drop Dead Fred. It is the best movie in the world ever. And not just because Rik Mayall is wonderful in it.
Radio, Cuba Gooding, **** A real neat sports/human interest story
Invincible, Mark Wahlberg.**** A real neat sports true story!
Hot Fuzz, Simon Peel? ***** I loved it. Another throughly enjoyable Brit movie. good off beat humor~
Smokin Aces***** I don't care for Jeremy Piven, He was GREAT in this movie.
A pay attention action movie!
The Last Mimzy. Very cute film. :)
I saw High School Musical 3 today... sadly I enjoyed it.... a lot. :D:rolleyes:
I skipped school and watched Paycheck with my mommy today.
I LOVE Rik Mayall. He's like a god. It was pretty much the only thing he's done that I haven't seen, and I couldn't find it anywhere until I downloaded Vuse, a bit torrent program to download it. When he says "Hey Snotface, look at this!" and then holds the flashlight to his face and does that thing, I loved it. He does that face/weird laugh thing in pretty much every show he's ever done.
I really wish they didn't cut him out of Harry Potter, he filmed and was payed for the part of Peaves the poltergeist but they ended up cutting him out of the entire movie. :(
Reign of Fire-**** Good SciFi dragon flick!
We Are Marshall- **** Another Matt McConnaghey (sp) movie-good sports flick
The Last King of Scotland ***** Forrest Whitaker Great movie, scary because it happened.
The Departed. ***** Jack Nicholson, Still a bad ass! Good Guy Bad guy movie!
Alien vs Predator. **** You have to love the monster that bleeds corrosive
blood! How do you kill him without messing up your shoes?
I saw Sex and the City: The Movie and it was really good. Now I'm hooked on the show. I had never watched it before then!
I feel like every time I watch Sex and the City I get dumber, no joke.
And I can't take Forest Whitaker seriously because of the roll he played in ER.
I saw "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" on Friday.. then I saw it again on Sunday. It was SOOOO funny! Really raw, raunchy and maybe even over the line for some.. that said, it's my new favorite movie! :D
Oh, yeah, I think "maybe over the line" isn't accurate...it's DEFINITELY over the line for a lot of people. I found it hilarious personally. I would never recommend it to my mother, though. There are way too many completely offensive lines and scenes, I don't think she'd be able to see past that at all.
*Gia*, Angelina Jolie's first big solo movie..kinda dark and depressing.. I'd seen it before but John hadn't.
*Blue Velvet*..John's choice...strange and weird.
I have lots of animated stuff and comedies on my Netflix list.
Haha my friend and I have that kind of sense of humor.. we've been quoting the movie ever since we saw it. I picked him up from the dentist today after a wisdom teeth removal. They were telling me about his meds and said one may cause constipation. Can you guess what I recommended incase it happens? LOL.
Did you stay for the credits? :D
Watched "the strangers" it scared the crud out of me for about an hour and then I was feeling like just kill them I dont' care!
Saw "failure to launch" finally, it was a cute movie.
We watched "The Happening" last night. WOW, brought up so many emotions in me.
Excellent movie.
I found This Is The Army on TCM last night and now I love it. :D
I saw Quantum of Solace a couple nights ago. Blech. The ONE saving grace was that Daniel Craig was shirtless. :D :p
Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Hellboy 2....loved them all!
"Seven Pounds." Amazing. Crushing. Brilliant. I loved it. Cried my heart out, and left feeling really good!
I'm patiently waiting for Frost/Nixon :D
I've seen Twilight and Bolt since I last posted here. I liked them both but Bolt made me cry.
"Bolt" was AWESOME! So funny!
Twilight was great. The Happening, hated it. Milk was AMAZING and Sean Penn (who I dislike personally) should win an award. I found the parallels between 1978/Prop 6 and 2008/Prop 8 fascinating. I'll buy it when it comes out on dvd.
you know i was never a fan of sean penn either, until i saw him in I am Sam, now i just love him, and watch anything he is in, he is a brilliant actor.
I must go see this film, thanks for sharing.
I saw Yes Man today. SOOOO funny! I loved it all :D Great cast, great story line.. I'll definitely have to buy the book it's based on :D
Yesterday I saw Yes Man and The Ice Storm. Yes Man was pretty good but I really loved The Ice Storm.
I can't wait to see "Milk" and "Yes Man." I really love Sean Penn and Jim Carrey. I have been a fan of Sean Penn for a long time, but the one that sold me on him was "Sweet and Lowdown."
Saw Bolt this past weekend and I started crying at the very beginning when they show the little guy in the shelter. Hugged our pups (and kitties) when we got home.
Just got home from seeing Doubt, with Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman. Very powerful movie.
Meryl Streep amazes me. We last saw her in Mama Mia as a carefree unwed mother; now she's a nun - the kind that would hit you on the knuckles with a ruler. What a gifted actress.
Heist- *** Huge Gene Hackman fan, good story.
Fracture **** Good movie. "Hannibal" finally gets his!;)
No Reservations **** Not a chick flick kinda dude, Love CZJ....Would do her dishes any day. The kid in the movie was really good. I don't like kid actors, but she was exceptional.
Jumpers * I love sci fi, but this movie sucked. No history or background as to why you can jump!
Transformers * WTFWT? Again, I love sci fi, but I could not tel what was going on with all the special effects. Dumb.
The Duchess with Keira Knightley. I'm not a huge fan of hers, per se, but I really enjoyed this movie. It's based on actual people and events, and is pretty accurate, from the bits of knowledge I have about the people. Great movie.
David and I started watching John Adams last night, and wow, it is incredible. It's not a movie, really, but a mini-series that was on HBO. We've only watched the first two parts, though, and I can't wait to see the rest!
An older one I watched the other night, The Thing Called Love, with Samantha Mathis and River Phoenix, Sandra Bullock and Dermot Mulroney. It's full of music and I love it. The soundtrack is excellent and I think it's either Phoenix's last or close to his last movie. All the actors I listed sing in the movie!
YOu know, I never saw any of PSH movies and lately he has shown up in quite a few.....I loved him in C Wilson's war and last night I saw RED DRAGON and he played the reporter that gets invovled with the mass killer....
Graet actor.

I also watched CONEHEADS again and was amazed at all the stars that were in that movies.....A good 'see' even just for the people you recognize!
Past few days -
Double Jeopardy, 1999, with Ashley Judd, Tommie Lee Jones. Lots of action and I was so glad when she shot the creep.
On The Beach - the original from 1959, with Gregory Peck, Fred Astaire, Ava Gardner, Tony Perkins.
