christmas card swap 2006 list sent

I am still hopeful that you will eventually receive the card that I sent, Isabel. I heard an item on the news this morning about a woman who has just received a letter that her father sent to her mother during the first world war. The letter could not be delivered at the time, because the family had moved house temporarily and although the postman had tried to trace them, he had not managed it. Subsequent letters were delivered, but this one seemed to fall into some kind of black hole at the post office, and just emerged recently. Although the mother is no longer with us, the letter was delivered to her daughter who is now 86.

So you see, there is hope that you will yet receive more cards!

I loved getting them, even the rest don´t get here I´d still join further card swaps, they sure are worth the fun......

and yes Sonia, Christmas time has been prolongued and it´s very nice to still have that around.......thank you all

Brody's Mum! I just got your card returned to me undelivered today! What happened? I checked and the address is exactly as it was on the list ... did you get everyone else's cards but ours?

How odd! didn't keep a list but did get lots of cards. Two numbers were transposed on the first list but this was corrected - not to worry, save it for this year :D

Oh wow, I'm sorry to hear this, I hope they all arrive with time. That's one slow postal system! I hope you get mine, it's way outdated (Keva was tiny in the pic!) but still cute. :)

Well, I got hers returned to me and had to re-mail it. I haven't seen your since I mailed it out in December - but I could try and send a new one ...

Okay, but do let us know if any more cards wend their way to your door. I just feel so bad! I go a special "okay to send it Mexico" stamp and everything! :(

Isabelle, maybe you'll just have to look at the ones you did recieve two or three times, and pretend they're from the other PTers? :confused: And when you buy cards for next year, make sure you buy the kind that don't go off on world tours on their own! ;)
I will never complain about a letter taking three weeks to reach someone again! :rolleyes:

*edit* I really am sorry so many didn't make it to you. You did a lot of work on this exchange. I guess the northern gods of the huskies must have been watching over ours, as we seem to have exchaged cards successfully. Wooo-woooo!

I'm so sorry to hear that you didn't receive many of our cards and that we didn't get yours either.
I just sent out some regular cards with a picture of the pups in it. So since you didn't get my card, here's the picture that was inside. Hope you enjoy it:)
