Now now .... doctor's orders - nothing to eat or drink after midnight before her surgery. Gotta make sure the sleepy-drugs work.

In a little over an hour Slick's surgery should start.

Yes, I have been watching the clock here too.

Prayers, lots of them, are on their way.

Gini, how will you know when everything is finished? Has Slick authorized you to call and check on her condition or is someone going to call you? You know we will all be sitting on our hands in anticipation of some word about the surgery.

I'll check in again before bedtime tonight. I'm off to volleyball, shortly, but my prayers continue.

There is a woman in her building (friend) who will call the hospital and Slick has authorized the hospital to give her any information.

After she calls, she is to call me and at that point I will post immediately any news on Pet Talk.

She is halfway through her surgery - storming the heavens for her!!!

Sending love and prayers from OH. I see angels guiding the hands of everyone working on her, and nothing will be overlooked.

Realistically speaking there will probably not be an update tonight except "in the recovery room until morning". That would be enough for me. But Gini and I have our brains focused so I have to get back to the room in my heart strings.

How long did she say her surgery would be?

On pins and needles...hope someone can get an update from the hospital....

I talked to Slick this past weekend and I KNOW she will do this and that Gini will post here when she hears from our gal. Not sure how long her surgery is/was, but she's been on my mind all day long!
