I saw the game plan on Tuesday LOVED it. :D
U23D and LOVED it!! I do love U2 but was on the fence about it being 3D (silly for an adult to sit there for 90 minutes with silly glasses!) and the last IMAX film I saw made me motion sick! But I loved it and would go see it a few more times.
Claudia
Saw 4 Good but gory.
Oh yeah... the hubby and I saw it in the theater when it opened.... I had to watch the first part with my ears plugged (and I closed my eyes a few times too) :eek:Quote:

We saw this today - it was gruesome. Forrest Whittaker was wonderful as Idi Amin. Watching it made me want to learn more about the country and Amin.Quote:

Most recently i have watched My Girl 1 & 2. Those movies always make me cry.. especially the first one when Thomas Jay die's :(.
I saw Meet the Spartans last night. It lived up to my expectations. It wasn't amazing, but we got a couple good laughs. Probably the worst of the spoof-type movies though.
A couple of friends and i finally got to see Sweeney Todd, and we loved it :). The blood was very fake though, so that was amusing ;).
Just watched it last night...not really what I thought it was going to be but funny none the less!Quote:

We saw Definitely, maybe tonight. I loved it! Kinda predictable, but I teared up as well as my boyfriend and the girl beside me. :P Alan suggested we go see it again haha! It was a fantastic movie with fantastic actors!
Miracle - from 2004, about the 1980 United States Olympic team that beat the Russians. LOVE this movie.
A Man For All Seasons. It was on TCM this evening. I've seen it maybe 20 times - and I truly feel it is the best movie I have seen in my lifetime.
Me and DH just finished watching 30 Days of Night - we both thought it was really good. We also watched American Gangster - I thought it was a good movie. :)
I watched Men In Black 2 with my best friend. Classic. :p
We saw Vantage Point this afternoon. Lots of action, never a dull moment, and one terrific car chase at the end.
I saw part of one of the "Bourne" movies on USA over the weekend. I found it after it had started, and couldn't watch all the way to the end -- GRRRR! I'd like to see the first two, from start to finish - because I liked the most recent one a lot.
I watched Hair and then I went and started it again. :D I just picked up the DVD from our shelf because I was bored and my mom started singing the one song called "Hair" from it.
I loved it. The characters, the clothing, and especially the horses doing dressage to the music while the people are also dancing at the beginning during the "Age of Aquarius" song.
I watched Sweeney Todd tonight for the second time. I rather enjoyed it. I actually enjoyed the music though the voices were terrible. I think the vulgar voices just added to the overall vulgarity of the movie. That is what I enjoyed the most about it. I found it to be very Tim Burton. I liked the fact the accents were over exaggerated and the 'special effects' were quite fake. In my opinion the vulgarity of the film is what makes it quite good.
My Mom brought over Dan in Real Life for us to watch - it was a really good movie. I love Steve Carell, I think he is too funny. :D
Senior Tuesday - we saw Miss Pettigrew Lives For a Day, with Amy Adams and Frances McDormand. Fun movie!
I watched a movie on lifetime last night that was excellent..."an eye for an eye" it is from 1996 but it is excellent.
My daughter and her friends are off to see THE EYE tonite, so will let you know what they all think. ;) :)
I saw 10,000BC this weekend. It was GREAT! Loved it! Great storyline, fantastic actors, and amazing graphics!
Well the kids verdict on The Eye, was i would not pay to go and see it, i had free tickets to a preview, they did not seem very excited about it at all really, that is two 15 yr olds opinions.
Nim's Island with Jodie Foster, Abigail Breslin and Gerard Butler.
Lots of fun, gorgeous scenery, and one for all members of the family.
Perfect way to put it. My favorite song was A Little Priest:pQuote:

I did finally get to watch I am Legend. Enjoyed it too.
Smart People with Dennis Quaid, Sarah Jessica Parker, Thomas Haden Church and Ellen Page.
We liked it. Got 3 *** in our local paper. I would see it again.
I saw Street Kings, 21 and The Other Boelyn Girl recently.
Street Kings was mediocre. Not horrible, not outstanding. I was pretty into it for most of the movie and shockingly surprised that I was enjoying a Keanu Reeves movie. However the ending was far too rushed. There was just way too much information thrown at you all at once. Overall, it was alright.
21 was AMAZING! I loved it all! Great actors, wonderful story, intense.. it was awesome!
The Other Boelyn Girl was also fantastic. I had never cared much for history but I went home after the movie and read everything I could find about the Tudors and the Boelyns. It was an amazing movie!
I saw Pathfinder this weekend with the NZ actor Karl Urban. It was great and he is such nice eye candy. He was Eomar in the Lord of the Rings movies. Hubba hubba
yes Karl is indeed a hottie,we do have some rather delicious guy's down under don't we? lol :)

I absolutely loved both. Forgetting Sarah Marshall was HILLARIOUS.. but uh.. be prepared for some male full frontal nudity.
I finally bought Brokeback Mountain and watched it. What an incredible love story. The actors did a spellbinding job and the cinematography was breathtaking. Greatness, for sure.
just watched Fools Gold, disappointing really, again i fell asleep, i am sick right now, but i think i still would have, it just did not keep my interest long enough, it was ok i guess.
