As Arnie S would say I'LL BE BACK.

I am not having any luck adding my name, it appears that NZ is not significantly big enough or something to be included, OZ is there but I cannot seem to get it to accept me BOO HOO. :(

Question... QSA, could you edit my name? I realized I put down my real name and not my PT name. Duh! If I can edit it, I'd rather it say:

ramanth (Kimmy)

instead of just Kimmy.

Carole ~ I noticed that Auckland and Wellington are options on the map. Are you on the North Island?

I only have the options of deleting either names, or shout outs. You'd have to put your name in as Ramanth instead of Kimmy. ;) Let me know if you want me to do so.

Yes Kuhio I am in the North Island, about two hours away from Auckland city , I guess that will have to do, can anyone add me please, Just saying Kia Ora from beautiful Aotearoa-NZ, as my computer will not let me darn it, thanks in advance. :)

Gosh, thanks for getting Carole safely home. I was afraid there for a while that we had just kicked her out of Washington, D. C. and she was floating around in never never land.

I just went & looked at the map. My name is still on there with my location, posted off to the side. But my baloon/pointer thingie for my name & location on my state is not there. :confused:

NEVERMIND! I refreshed the page & zoomed in a LOT then it showed up.

It's not very dangerous because it doesn't put the dot on your house or even your street necessarily - it doesn't even ask for a specific address, but just where it counts as the center of whatever postal code you type. Unless you live at the post officel, you're pretty darned safe!

Hi Sandra! ~waves~ I found out about this map through another group I'm on (VetPet) and figured that Pettalk would be a really neat place to start one up. ;) It took me a while to figure out how to set it up so the whole world shows up, but I managed. ;) It's been fun seeing how wide spread many of us are. :eek: Jan

For the last couple of months, I've been having problems with the map. It says there are 190 markers, but I can only access 50 or 100 at a time. When I try to access the last 40 I get
"Warning Unresponsive script
A script on this page may be busy or not responding. You can stop the script now or you can continue to see if the script will complete. It freezes and I never see all the markers."
Anyone else have this problem?

I've tried it this morning and it seems to work for me. I'm not getting that message anyway, although some of the markers seems to take a while to show up. I am also slightly mystified as to why G535 (Victoria, Australia) appears to have relocated to Arkansas? Is she trying to throw us off the scent, I ask myself? :D
