Yes, thanks Ms Gini. :) Richard's spelling got me the correct option through spell checker, but it still didn't look right, seems there should be more to it - oh well. I decided to add some spices to my chicken and put it on a bun (oh the horror of all those carbs!) so I had a spicy chicken samich instead of a salad, so there's lots of lettuce and chicken and p-a-r-m-e-s-a-n dressing for whoever wants. Thanks for lighting the grill, Richard. For some reason that is one skill that eludes me. :rolleyes:
Happy Birthday Robin!!!
And now that I know what's in those slushies, sure I'll have another!
Where'd Mario go? He's been awful quiet lately......

DONE!
T&P,
Slushie, DONE!
Mario's is passed out unde the bar.... Karen danced him to sleep!
Hmmmm...what is in those slushies? Might have to give that a try. Oh, gini, what is your birthday drink for the day? Maybe I will join you in what you are having!
Actually I think it was the foot massage I gave Mario earlier today. It seemed to put him in a trance (does for me ;) ) We'll have to remember that. Richard's Slushies gained a certain notoriety at Gini's BBQ bash last July and seem to get better with every batch. Oh what the hell, just let me set up another blender because now that my work day is just about over, I want a HUGE slushie - any color will do :D
HEY! Wait a minute... Robin called us a "big bunch of goofs" :eek: I resemble that remark:p
Laurie, I think we all '' resemble'' that remark!!:D
Thanks for the beer and cookies.:D
Yes, I did!....LOL...only because I am too dim-witted to keep up with the convo...hehehe....you big bunch of goofs you!Quote:

Can I have all three....beer, cookies and a slushie???? Yum, sounds fabulous! Shouldn't mix the drinks but what the heck?!
Hi everyone! Just popping in for a minute while I eat my lunch. Can I please have a double BM?? That will do me while I go back and read everything from page 1.
A toast to all the birthday people! May you enjoy a long and healthy life. :)
C'mon Slick, tell your boss to go....... It's the Thursday anniversary and you deserve to be here, not slaving away and answering stupid questions all day.
It's not even 3:00 pm here and my boss is gone for the day - whooo hooo! Suuuurrreee I'll have another slushie - and make it a nice big one like Laurie's. :D
We're headed to Palm Desert, CA next week for vacation and I can't wait!!! This afternoon is easy and tomorrow is an easy day - and then I'm off - so I'm in the mood for a party.
Bring on the slushies!!!! :D
Bring on the Lushes?? :eek: :eek: Ohhhhh slushies * nevermind * :o
You only live once.:DQuote:

Slick,
Double BM for you (BM means bloody mary :D)
T&P,
Slushie for you,
LOL, let us know how you like the Land of the Easily Amused!
DONE!
Lbaker, that was funny. There are a lot of lushes here today.
Robin, Happy Birthday! I'll be hitting that same age in July. Ugh. Sucks to be getting older, doesn't it? These slushes remind me of Sonic's Cherry Limeade. Those things are so good. Robin, order whatever you want for the next drink because I'm buying.
Is that the drink or are you just swearing at Mary??? ;) :eek:Quote:

OK, here's my joke... I hope it'll tickle your funny bone, yet not offend.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A cowboy walks into a bar and two steps in, he realizes it's a gay bar. "What the heck," he says to himself, I really want a drink."
When the gay waiter approaches, he says to the cowboy, "What's the name of your manhood?"
The cowboy says, "Look, I'm not into any of that. All I want is a drink."
The gay waiter says, "I'm sorry but I can't serve you until you tell me the name. Mine for instance is called Nike, for the slogan 'Just Do It.' That guy down at the end of the bar calls his Snickers, because 'It really satisfies.'"
The cowboy looks dumbfounded so the bartender tells him he will give him a second to think it over. So the cowboy asks the man sitting to his left, who is sipping on a beer, "Hey bud, what's the name of yours?"
The man looks back and says with a smile, "Timex."
The thirsty cowboy asks, "Why Timex?"
The fella proudly replies, "Cause it takes a lickin' and keeps
on tickin'!"
A little shaken, the cowboy turns to two fellas on his right,
who happen to be sharing a fruity Margarita and says, "So, what do you guys call yours?"
The first man turns to him and proudly exclaims, "Ford, because
Quality is Job One." Then he adds, "Have you driven a Ford lately?"
The guy next to him then says, "I call mine Chevy... Like a Rock!" and gives a wink.
Even more shaken, the Cowboy has to think for a moment before he comes up with a name for his manhood. Finally, he turns to the bartender and exclaims, "The name is 'Secret.' Now give me a beer."
The bartender begins to pour the cowboy a beer, but with a puzzled look asks, "Why Secret?"
The cowboy says, because it's STRONG ENOUGH FOR A MAN, BUT MADE FOR A WOMAN!
Catnapper, that is sooo funny!
I'll have one of those slushies too, thanks.:D
Well now, Catnapper, that ought to get you a few points around here...............oh oh, here comes Karen, and she doesn't look like she is looking for Mario either.
Busted on our first Anniversary - well that figures!!
I am drinking Slushies - I didn't ask, I just grabbed the blender and poured myself a little tiny teeny weenie one.........or two......or three........................
dirthdays are so fush mun.................................
lol - welcome to the club catnapper.;)
As long as we're educating you on the ways of the Thursdays, a couple of things to remember - no matter how many slushies you drink, it is never polite to toss your unmentionables into the rafters.
Also, if you see any lost and confused haz-mat employees near the lost and found - steer them towards Slick. I don't know why but I've been told not to ask.
Bartender - got any nekkid beers back there?
Catnapper, that was a funny joke! I'll have to remember it. What's this about the nekkid beers? Not familiar with them.
May I present....
Naked Beer!!! Yes it's the real thing and some of the best beer I've ever had in my life! Made in New Glarus, WI with a very limited distribution area. Fortunately Terry is up that way on business now and then and brings a case home at a time - never lasts long enough though. ;)
Welcome, David! Enjoy!
Hey Debbie, I think I would love to taste one of those nekkid beers. I really like the taste of beer.
Welcome David - I'm sure Richard will enjoy the male company, it gets a little estrogen heavy in here sometimes.
Will someone please help me get Gini down from the rafters?
this is funny - I first heard about it on the morning radio, definately worth sharing with this gang.
He'll be dancing with Mario after that many slushies!
What a day:
- mechanic can't see my car until late next week
- Shane forgot to bring our lunch (which normally I wouldn't mind, but it's leftover pizza)
- we were half-way into work and realised we hadn't seen Tabasco all morning. I have a sneaking suspicion he's locked in the study
- can't concentrate in case Tabasco is in the study, so guess who's borrowed the car and is about to go home to check :)
Maybe I have a slushy on my return?
OK, I'm really falling behind here......
You guys are having all kinds of fun and
.....wait a minute.....
WHOA!!!!!
Do I see another man in our midst??????? :) :) :)
All right!!! Now the parteeee can start. I'm getting awfully tired of dancing with the Hazmat guys.
Welcome David.
Dylan's taking a nap so I thought I would pop in again. Can I have a hard lemonade? :D
Where's that monkey?! I sure have missed the little dude. I haven't been in here for months now! :eek: Oh and can I have some of those cookies too?
If the computer is in the study check your credit card numbers on the next statement....cats love Ebay..... ;)Quote:
Dave,
I have learned to keep the bar between me and the gals....:eek:
Wait,
I'll send Mario after Gini!!!
Hi guys! Thought I'd step in and have drink with Gini on her birthday - and on this special occasion! :D I'll have whatever she suggest, and while I'm waiting for that, give me a G & T please. ;)
I'm late because I've been a board meeting. :rolleyes:
Oh did I tell you, I bought cheddar back from England for myself and Shropshire Blue for a friend - only I forgot it someones fridge over there. I'm waiting to hear what happens when it crawls out by itself. :D :D
Ps. I'm hungry too!
Gin and Tonic! DONE!!Quote:
By the way David, as to your question in another thread about single PT'ers? I'm reminded of a quote from Mae West "Marrage is a great institution, but I'm just not ready to be institutionalized yet". :p Belly up to the bar mate :D This from a over 50 widow. Been there, done that ;)
