We were out at the Dog Park last night, and so I must say...bring bug spray!!! The mosquitoes are awful!!! It shouldn't be too bad, if the sun stays out, but if it is cloudy, watch out!!!
The parks department is inprocess of adding water, inside the gates!!! The whole has been dug for a few weeks, but nothing more has been done. Maybe by Labor Day weekend we'll have water?
If the mosquitos are anything like they are here, we'll need lots of bug spray:eek:
Now, when you say they are adding water, do you mean like a pool or something for the dogs? If so that would be awesome!

Don't *think* anyone else is doin a sleep-over.
There are several motels on I-75 near Findlay - check on the Web for FINDLAY, Ohio.
And you might consider driving part way home Sunday evening;
then stay at a different motel on the way whenever you get tired. You'll be driving on main east/west routes - so there will be LOTS of motels available.

Yes, we are coming. We will bring brats again (no, not kids....bratwurst lol). We are bringing DeeDee and Shawna this time. Just please everyone who is coming, don't approach DeeDee until she gets used to you, she is a fear biter, but she is getting better and we would like to test her. We are also bringing our friends Tammy and Andy and their 2 dogs (one is still officially a Cobb Care foster) Zeus (GSD pup) and Ruthie (hound from CC). They are going to bring something, but don't know what yet.
Just a wuick not to everyone ( Molly, Anna, Jo) who will be coming from the Southup I-75--Route 12 (Exit 157) is still closed. The best way is to go up to Exit 161. Please PM if you need directions...

1) Exit I-75 at Exit # 161 / "Highway 99"
2) Turn Left heading EAST onto Highway 99
3) Cross over (straight thru) North Main Street
4) Cross over set of Railroad Tracks
5) Highway 99 bends right - follow it
6) then Highway 99 turns off sharply to the Left - DON'T turn with 99...
7) Continue STRAIGHT onto "Highway 212"
8) Follow 212 (Cross Highway 18; pass Bright Road)
9) 212 changes from 4-lane to 2-lane...
10) Follow 212 to STOP sign at Highway 236
11) TURN RIGHT onto Highway 236 (you're going south, now)
12) STAY ON 236 going south...
You'll pass through 2 stop lights, 1 at Sate Route 12 and 1 at US Route 224. At the 224 intersection there will be a Walmart on your right (just a point of reference).
Continue south on 236 until you come to a STOP sign.
At this point 236 T's into the side of State Route 568.
13) Turn LEFT onto OH-568 follow OH-568 to the east...
.. you're in the "country" now :)..
.. go about 1.5 miles and *Watch* for two
.."Hancock Parks/RiverBend Park" signs on the right
14) Turn RIGHT onto MARION TOWNSHIP HIGHWAY 241.
15) cross a "rickity old bridge" to the Stop sign.
16) Turn LEFT onto TOWNSHIP HIGHWAY 208.
17) Enter the RiverBend Park...
... Drive past a Ranger Station on your left
... The road turns 90 degrees right
18) Slow Down - turn Right into the Bark Park & "The Lodge" parking lot,
... just after that bend in the road.
"Our" Pavilion #7 is the First One on the right inside the parking lot.
SPECIAL NOTE:
There is some "confusion" on "terms" used by MapQuest :eek:...
They confuse "County Road and County Highway"
with TOWNSHIP Road and Highway"... :rolleyes: !

The Important thing is The NUMBER (99, 212, 236, etc)
NONE of the NUMBERS are used twice (Thanks, God!!)
When you look at MapQuest - "County" and "Township" road numbers BOTH appear in lil Square Boxes...
No matter what *I* called it - if the Number on the sign matches with the turn directions above - You're on the right road!

But you sure do a good job on getting every one there! Thanks for your continual updated information. By the way, it is suppose to be sunny on Sunday but only a high of about 75 which sounds pretty good to me. But don't forget the bug spray everyone. The mosquitoes and sweat bees are quite bad in the shade and when the sun is hiding!!! The stuff with a higher percentage of Deet works the best. At least 7% if you prefer not to go home with all kinds of little welts.
