This is my friend Serena and I in Phoenix this summer. I am short but I didn't have shoes on either. She is 6'1"!

That's how I measure up against my beautiful stepdaughters, who are as tall as their natural mom, 6'!!! Being 5'8', it's interesting not being the tallest "girl" anymore!!!!Quote:

Hey Kohala, you really need to put your pic up here. Koxka is calling you Koala (see her last post) - you're not a furry, gum leaf-loving marsupial are you!!!
(Anna, just joking :D )
Well, maybe!! My pouch seems to be growing the older I get!! LOL Hey, check the third page - I PM'd Koxka - if you're curious - there I am in all my furry glory!!!:DQuote:

And I have been known to raid a few semi-dead eucalyptus branches and put them around the house - smell good and repel bugs, y'know!!
Oops - 6th page
LOL!!! I can't open it, says page not available. I will just have to keep looking up gum trees and imagining what you look like :DQuote:

Here are my Senior Pics from about 3 years ago, but I pretty much still look the same!

Wish I had some more recent pics for on here, but I don't! I'll have to work on that. Luckily, I still look exactly the same!

Alright I’m not officially a member, but if you all really think it interesting to see a picture of “The old git in the corner” (my nickname at my local) - then here it is, taken at some unearthly hour when I wasn’t quite myself:
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...b/fd0d483c.jpg
and here’s one of Randi, being watched over by “the light of our life”:

So come on popcornbird, if I can do it, you can do it!
… and FlopsyLady, don’t worry about growing up yet, in 50 years, when you’ve approaching my age, you’ll say “Where did all the time go?”
… and by the way - I like Guiness and I’m still alive!
I haven’t noticed any pictures of Karen and Paul, are they shy too?
john
...the best pictures ever!!!! :D :D : .....especially Randi ! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :
Randi--
Do you mean Genisis the band?? If so well I looove that group and I am plenty alive!! I am weird because I like all music from the past and I do not really care for rap and stuff lol. But if you're not talking about Genisis the band then oh well. :) Great pics everyone I will have another with me & Lady & Sally sometime later!!:)
Okey, so this is a very bad picture, but you'll be able to see a person (that's me) with a dog (Remus) :D It was a rainy day and very cold, this picture is taken in March 2002.
I do have a few pictures of me with my cats, but I'll have to scan them, and i don't have a scanner at home.
Ok...finally got one scanned. How funny that with all the cat pictures I take...none include us hoomans. :)
This is one of our engagement pictures, it was taken last year (It was two days before the wedding, gosh I remember how stressed out I was...) This is the only picture I had on my desk at work of us, the rest are of family, friends and of course....CATS!!! :D

The camera doesn't like me, it always takes bad pictures of me :D
Awesome pics everyone! :)
I LOVE Randi's eyes in the second pic. :D

"La Maja vestida"1798-1805 by Goya
Oil on canvas .Museo del Prado.Madrid
There's another Maja. Iit seems while the duchess posed and the painter painted the temperature rose and ended up in a second version "La Maja desnuda" (The naked Maja). I'd better wait till summer to post this one.
John, I had never thought of you as the 'old git,' but rather Fister's official biographer :)Quote:

Anyway, seems all the pictures I have here at work, we have our sunglasses on and they're not really closeups at all, but here you go.
This me & Terry on the shores of Lake Geneva, Switzerland when we were there in May. It was a work thing for Terry so that's why he looks so "professional."
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...d/fd0c569d.jpg
And I guess we don't have our sunglasses on in this one, but it's kind of far away. Anyway, this was in the Alps in Switzerland. I guess you can rent these cool little cars in Interlaken then drive them around in the Alps. We didn't do that, but the girls that did let us check it out. It was the coolest little car. The people standing around are some of Terry's colleagues from Germany.

Better? :D
Oh, and if anyone would just read all the posts here on PT, you are all the most beautiful, caring people, so I don't understand where all this "ugly" talk is coming from either.
Yes, much!;)Quote:

I agree, everyone on here is beautiful!
That picture of Lake Geneva is breathtaking! Amazing picture. :)
You guys look cute too! :D
Thanks. Switzerland really is beautiful, especially the "Bernese Oberland" area which is where the alps are. It's kinda funny, because when you're there, it's like "Oh well, just another mountain." But then you catch yourself doing that, take a step back and reallylook at what you're seeing, and it definitely, absolutely takes your breath away. I love it over there and would go back in a heart beat. Hopefully Terry has to go back again next year for work and hopefully he'll be able to drag me along again. ;) :) He actually works for a German company, but the company is in Lorach, Germany which is right on the German, Swiss, French border, and they always try and break up the business with a little site seeing, so it's not unusual to head into Switzerland or France for a quick trip. Last year we spent some time in the Black Forest of Germany too, since Lorach is right there also. Beautiful country.Quote:

Oh, and the one time we were way up in the Alps (forget the name of the town right off hand) but there were no cars allowed, jut a neat, small, historic little alp village. We were walking around enjoying the view when what do I see if front of me but..the grandfather from Heidi!!! There was this old man, walking with a cane, with a long beard...he looked exactly like I picture the grandfather looking. I wanted to take his picture, but I didn't want to intrude on his privacy or anything like that. However, if I ever see him or similar again, I will definitely ask if I can take a picture. Oh, and when we were in another little alp town, here come the cows, right down the street! They were bringing them down from the alps for the winter. They decorate the cows and it was so neat to see them in the street with those big bells hanging around their necks. They make a celebration out of it, and the cows have the right of way. The cars have to wait. I love it! :)
Here's one of me and the pups together...not the best pic but oh well, it was either this or find all the stuff for my scanner hook it up and post a pic of me running in a trial on the weekend with Smudge. I'll got with the bad pic :D
