http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...disnuzzer1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...disnuzzer2.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...idiwalks21.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...idiwalks22.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...idiwalks23.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...idiwalks24.jpgHeidi snoozing with her rope bone Sunday afternoon and this morning on her daily walks,too wet and windy on the weekend to do it,tomorrow should be fine,rain doesn't come until evening and rain all day on Wednesday then she goes to be spayed on Thursday,will be recovering from that so maybe by this time next week will be back to walking.Last had four Iams bones and water,gets thirsty after playing fetch.She snoozed by my chair last night and with Mom,was licking mom's pants,Mom doesn't like that.She sat up for the longest time last night,wanting to play,she sits up just like Fritz did,very proud of her.this morning,woke mom up,sat with her and with me after I ate cereal,brought her down in the bed,had a play of fetch with the Monkey,had her out for a walk,walked very good, went up a few driveways,waned to pick up sticks and smelled where other dogs had been,went by the school okay,they were going in from recess.A German Shepherd Buddy barked at him,always when we go by and another neighbor's Yorkshire Terrier barked at her from their front window.Right now she is snoozing behind me,Mom gone to gift shop,tonight is the annual Women's Ecumenical Dinner,ladies from the churches in the region come together for dinner,is at the Seventh Day Adventist Church just East of the Bowmanville Zoo,on the opposite side of the street from the Cemetery.Cool today and 39 ,rain tomorrow night,all day Wednesday,sunny around 48-50 on Thursday.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...idisnuggy9.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...disnuzzer3.jpgHeidi snuggled up next to me this morning and on the carpet in front of me snoozing away.She first went to get Mom up,she sits with her first then gets down and rolls over a couple of time and up on the couch,the come to me after I eat cereal.After this,I brought her down in the bed,had to catch her first,she had a couple of plays of fetch with a squeaky then snoozed,has had some food,is snoozing now, was yipping in her sleep.Tomorrow is the big day,Heidi gets spayed and had a chip put in,she can't after 6 tonight and can only drink water,have to be there for 20 to 9,talk to the vet for 10 minutes,she is there for the day,we can get her between 4 and 6 tomorrow afternoon.Today is too wet for a walk,had rain,wind and thunderstorms overnight,still over cast now.

Hi Heidi, Barry and Mom!! I've been away so long. We finally found out what's wrong with my leg. Surgery coming soon.
Heidi is so adorable and so BIG!!! She's grown so much. Honestly, Barry, she's cuter than ever! A perfect specimen of her breed.
You all take care and I'll PM with more details. Great pics!! Mom looks great too!!:)

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/.../heidisad1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...eidimommy3.jpgHeidi last night ,looking up at me ,kind of of a sad look on her face,with Mom this morning on the couch.She had a couple of small dishes of her food last night and two Iams bones.When she got home,she pooped in the house,did the other outside.She was really tired from the operation,she would be sitting by me and head would nod off,so I put her front paws down and she snoozed,had a snooze with Mom .She was ready to g to bed last night,this morning was sitting up waiting for me,paw on the gate wanting out,her tail wagging,put her put didn't do anything,had hardly ate since 6 p.m. on Wednesday.She had some food this morning then took her mom,she sat with me and Mom.She then went to the back door,Mom thought she needed out,she knows I go downstairs in the morning so brought her down where she has snoozed,she has had more food and water and has been out so that pleases mom.She is now having a nap just inside the rec room near the stereo.Rain tonight and into tomorrow morning,chance of a thunderstorm,sunny on Easter Sunday and 52,same on Monday then rain both Tuesday and Wednesday up to the high 60's ,low70's won't enjoy that with it raining.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...eidimommy4.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...disnuzzer7.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...disnuzzer8.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...disnuzzer9.jpgHeidi cozy with mom Friday afternoon,behind my chair resting,can see the incision of the surgery,this morning snoozing by the gate and under the chair snoozing.Heidi is doing a lot better,not bothering licking the incision,snoozes a lot,goes up the stairs fine and is eating and drinking normally.I thinks she knows she had something done to her,hasn't bothered playing with the toys,knows she has to recover a little bit before playing like normal again.We are having Easter dinner her Larry,Marlene and Taffy,Shannon,Brandyn and Buster,so we will put Heidi in her cage,don't need Buster getting hyper and running her over.Samantha is 6 today,Shannon took them out to a kids place called Air Zone to play some games.Heidi right now resting at my feet,I would like to walk her ,the weather for the week doesn't sound promising,cloudy and rain.

Miss Heidi! I'm glad you got a walk in the sun today; it's been raining here in Chicago most of the day. Happy Wednesday, cutie :)

I'm so glad she's doing so well, Barry. She seems proud of her incision.:) I know your whole neighborhood loves her. I wish I could pick her up and give her a million kisses. Please do that for me.
I'm going to need surgery on my leg. My last knee replacement prosthesis has broken thru the femur in my left leg. I've had a broken leg since January. Finally found out. I'm now waiting for a scheduled surgery date. Having alot of pain and being real careful. The doctor is afraid the bone will snap in half.
Tell Heidi to be a good girl!!

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...eidimommy7.jpgHeidi cuddled next to Mom this morning after breakfast.She also cuddled with me ,after going out she went right to her food and didn't pay attention to Mom,then out again ,as I said cuddled with Mom then me,was biting the blanket,she got down and was biting at my feet.She is now down here snoozing away and snoring,not at present.Tonight,going to the church to hear the Tri-City Gospel Chorus, about 90 men from Ontario singing Barber Shop style gospel,we booked them in 2007,they are now booking for 2013.

Did you have an accident in the house because you were excited to see mom? That's too bad. But it seems like the biting isn't as much of a problem. I know you can learn not to "go" in the house even when you're super happy to see your people! You are smart!

Food and water, some time outdoors and spending time with your person ... sounds like a good day, Heidi! :)

Hi, Heidi! I like the first picture of you walking, where you've got your tongue stuck out just a little bit. Making friends with people on your walks, too -- I'm sure that's easy because you are so incredibly cute!

Not biting the carpet again, though. That doesn't sound good.

Barry, your neighborhood always looks so nice in these pictures of Heidi's walks! The lawns are green and trimmed and no trash on the grass, and the houses look like they're all kept up well. It looks great!

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...diplayer22.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...direlaxin9.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...irelaxin10.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...irelaxin11.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...diwatchin4.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...diwatchin5.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...diwatchin6.jpgHeidi with the rope toy in her mouth Friday night,relaxing on my knee Saturday morning and then watching things outside.Saturday morning,I need gas for the lawn mower,Heidi thought I was taking her for a walk,so we ended up taking her for a ride in the van to get the gas,she sat on the back seat and was in the front seat when I got back to the van,she rode on my lap for the ride home.I took her for the walk after getting back,she met 5 dogs including some Poodles and a Bichon.Mom went to a Barbershop singing event ,was gone half the day,I did work in the flowerbeds and cut the grass.Heidi stayed down here in the rec room most of the time,before Mom went ,she was out 2 or 3 times with me.We played fetch with the toys,she ate some Milk bones and had water,was happy to see Mom when she came home.She had another play after that then settled down and napped.This morning,cuddled with both of us,looked outside from my chair and saw a dog and barked then had a play with the squeaky.We then went to the cemetary and put flowers three,today would have been Dad's 85th birthday,really miss him today,the went to church ,Shannon came with the kids,.Tonight ,we all went to Kelsey's for super,Heidi stayed down here in the rec room,no damage done,had a few more plays,she had a walk after we got back form church.Heidi just had a timeout for biting at mom,now with her in her chair,settled down.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...idiwalks89.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...idiwalks90.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/...idiwalks91.jpgHeidi on her walk this morning.When we got to the Catholic school,the buses were letting off kids and Heidi wanted to go ajd greet them,not a good time to go wight all kinds of cars letting kids off and the buses also,she sops along the way to smell grass and sniff posts.This morning,she sat for a few minutes with me looking out for people,cars ,even watch a squirrel going up our tree,also had a play with the rubber bone.I came down here for a few minutes with her,had to drop mom off at the mall,she was going with a friend to Toronto to see the play the Calendar Girls,about a group of ladies,one had a husband who died of cancer so they got the idea to pose nude for a Calendar to raise money for Cancer research.Larry and Marlene are going to see Burton Cummings in Oshawa,Marlene got tickets,it is their 40th Anniversary on Sunday and Larry's 62nd birthday on the 31st.Heidi stayed in her cage this morning,I went and cut Marlene's lawn,I di ours when I got home after having lunch,let Heidi out,she had some lunch and supper,had a little snack not long ago,had plays with her toys,now outside,mom will phone from the bus to let me know when to go and get her,Heidi may want in, think I heard her scratching.Heidi goes to the groomer tomorrow so will look pretty.
