I am so sorry.
Thank you for giving her so much love.
I'm so sorry to hear this, Liz. I had lost track of this thread and had no idea that she was sick. Please don't blame yourself - this probably would have happened if she had been outside anyway. At least you are giving her the gift of love and a peaceful passing - so much more than she would get if left outside and on her own.
God speed to RB Baby Kitty , and peace to you, Liz.

Liz, I am so sorry and sad to hear this...I am praying for a last-minute miracle, of course.
If this can't happen, I pray for peace for both of you. She knew love...and will join her Mama who is waiting at the Bridge.
And free yourself from guilt - many kitties have been rescued and made indoor cats with no problem, and you did the right thing. I suspect she may have had a bug already, and it caught up with her indoors.
{{{hugs}}}
Sorry I haven't posted sooner but I've been having my own health
problems. Problems with my BP have really slowed me down.
Baby Kitty is still here and does seem to be gaining strenth. She started
to drink water on the evening of my last post. She's drinking more & more
every day now & it seems to have given her back a little strength. I went
to check on her this morning and she had left the cabinet she has been
staying in since she got so sick. She used a litter box in the next room.
The fact that she could move at all, has given me hope again that maybe
she isn't quite ready to give up yet.
She didn't show herself at suppertime, but I plan to bring down some
sardine treats later this evening to try to draw her out of hiding.
I wanted to thank you for the kind thoughts and prayers for BK.:)
More prayers for Baby Kitty...hopefully just a little more time will allow her system to strengthen.
Prayers for your health too, that you feel better soon!
Oh, God bless you, Baby Kitty, and God bless you, Liz.. both of you for keeping her going.
Baby Kitty, we are saying more and more prayers for you. Don't be afraid!
:love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love:
I'm sorry to hear that you're not feeling good, but so very happy to hear that Baby Kitty is perking up. I'm really rooting for that little girl!
Well now Liz - this is a pleasant surprise. So glad to read that BK is showing some signs of improvement. Prayers that she will continue and be able to stay with you for a long time to come.
And you - take care of yourself - ya hear??? Who is going to take care of those fur kids if you get sick???
{{{Hugs}}} to you and skritches to the furry ones.
I'm sorry I wasn't keeping track of this thread.:o Didn't know BK was ill.:( Many prayers for her return to good health.
Liz, I sure hope that you start feeling better soon and I'm so glad to hear that BK is improving some. Lots of prayers and positive thoughts are being sent to you and BK. Please take care. (((HUGS)))
Baby Kitty has gone on her journey to Rainbow Bridge.:( She left me
at 3:15pm this afternoon. I told her she would find Momma Kitty there and
she would be waiting for her. They are together again.:(
The Vet confirmed what I had thought yesterday. She has relapsed and
it was only a matter of time. I could not let her suffer any longer. She put
up a good fight to get better but it was not meant to be.:(
I will miss that little baby girl as long as I live.
Here's a older picture (2004) of Momma ( in foreground) and Baby Kitty ( following her in my backyard).

I'm so sorry Liz. I can't quite belive that baby Kitty has gone. :(
Oh, I am so very sorry, Liz.
Rest in peace, Baby Kitty, no more pain and you are home with your Mom to await the Grand Reunion.
Thank you, Liz, for all you have done and all the love you and BK share always.
I'm terribly sorry that Baby Kitty's illness was too much for her. I'm sure that she and Momma Kitty are having a good cuddle at the Bridge. RIP, pretty girl.
I'm so sorry about Baby Kitty. :( She's taking all the love you gave her to the Rainbow Bridge with her.
I am so very sorry to hear this, Liz. It was nothing that you did. You showed her love and commitment until the very end. She went to RB, to be with her mommy cat, with a solid stream of love to carry her on her way. She was beautiful, and will be missed by all of us. Especially you.
Liz, I am so, so sorry. :(
Prayers going out.
Play happy at the Bridge, Baby.:love:
Liz, I'm so sorry to hear this.:( Although she put up a good fight, she must've been needed up at the Bridge.:( She knows that you loved her very much and now she's been reunited with Mamma Kitty. RIP Baby Kitty.:( Please take care. (((HUGS)))
I'm really sorry, Liz. You definitely tried hard w/her and did your absolute best. RIP, Baby Kitty and peace to you, Liz.
Sorry sorry to read about the passing of Baby Kitty. Poor little thing, just getting used to the house and she falls ill.
Play hard at the Bridge, sweet girl, and be reunited with Momma Kitty again. You will be missed.
I'm so sorry about Baby Kitty.
I'm so sorry, Liz. My heart just sank when I saw that this thread had been moved into the Memorial section. RIP Baby Kitty. Go find Momma Kitty and be happy and play together, while you both wait to be with Momma Liz again one day. :)
You did your best for her Liz, so please don't blame yourself for what happened. {{{Hugs}}} from me and The Fuzzbuttz....:love::love:
The CREW and I are so sorry.
You did not let Baby Kitty down, it is a good bet that the URI that made her an Angels was already present in her system, bringing her in just brought it out.
You did what I think most Cat Lovers would have done, and that is to bring a Stray Cat in from the Cold.
Baby Kitty loves you and will be Your Fluffy Puffy Angel.
One Fine Day.
Thank you all for your kind words. I've been trying to keep myself
busy today so I don't have time to think too much about Baby Kitty.
Worked around the house doing things I had put off doing while she was
so sick, then went out to the store to pick up a few things.
As I was standing in the check out lane, thoughts of Baby came rushing
back and I had to bite my lip so I wouldn't cry in public.:(
BK only spent 57 days inside with me & the other cats, but she has been
in my heart for years. She lived for 6+ years in my garage with Momma Kitty.
She was the sweetest little girl., like a kitten that never grew up ,and I miss
her so much.:(
Liz-
I'm so sorry for your loss. At least BK got to spend time as a house cat, even if just for a brief time. And I know she knew how much you loved her, and she's happy and whole again at the bridge. RIP Baby Kitty:love:
I am so sorry to hear about BK.
Another precious furbaby gone to the Bridge.....I can only imagine the greeting that our dear Phred has given them.
Liz: I'm so very sorry about the passing of Baby Kitty. You did all you could and she was so very much loved.
Rest in peace BK. :(
Liz,
I just got my computer back today and saw this. I am so sorry to hear about BK. It may have only been 57 days. But I'm SURE it was the happiest days of that precious baby's life.
You did right by BOTH babies. Don't ever forget that!
RIP sweet BK.
Baby's ashes came in today and she rode home with me for the last time.
Her box is so small & she weighed almost nothing. So small, so tiny to leave
such a big hole in my heart.:( She was such a sweet, dear little girl and I miss her so much.
Love you Baby Kitty, now & always.
I'm thinking, later on this Spring, I'll bury Momma & Baby's ashes together
in the back yard near or under the Hydrangea bush. They both liked to hide under it's branches.
I think they would like that.
Just now seeing this. :( Thank you for letting Baby Kitty know love here on this Earth. {hug!}
Love, Columbine
Liz-
I'm so very sorry. I worry about my girl that I currently feed outside. Thank you for caring so much about her.
Again, I'm so sorry.
