This is on one of the candles. This is exactly what I needed to see tonight. The migraines have been so severe again lately... and with learning I'm diabetic in early January, things just seem overwhelming.Quote:

Although they claim the candles burn for 48 hours - they do not. I have gone back several times and my candles are gone.
I light a candle every day for a young man who has a very serious tumor. Because it is every day, I know the candles are gone before I can light the next one.
We were at 4 so I lighted a few. I lighted a couple for Gini's request in #87 too.

Our group was completely "dark" so I quick lit a few. One for k9soul's Tommy, one for ChrisH's Bobby and a few others.

Our group page looks good and I added a couple of candles.

To the person who has been lighting a candle for LGO -- Thank you so much! Lisa was a friend of mine from church. We weren't close in high school because she was in the popular clique and I hung with the less popular kids. After high school we became very close friends, in fact she sort of adopted my whole family. She was three months younger than me and often joked that our mothers were pregnant together. She died in 2008, I believe from a heart attack, it was very sudden. It's funny how you miss someone just from little things. So candle lighter, thank you again, you have touched my heart.

Thank you for posting the link to the candles, I didn't know where to find them. I did light 3 candles but I may have chosen the wrong Country. There was only one for America and that one said America Samoa. I was looking for one saying America only. If I chose the wrong Country, let me know, thanks.Quote:
