Well, I've been very lazy and I haven't started any of them yet.:o I hope to be able to finish all of the international cards this weekend though.
Working on my list!
Wenisrubber's zip code didn't come through correctly. Should be 97478
LabLoverKEB - you only provided your last initial, not last name. Have you done this before? Will the post office deliver? Or did you mean to include it? I don't know what to do on this one!
With me being away...I missed this year! I am sorry. I hope all have fun and get some nice cards!!!
Goodness, I feel like such a slacker! I'm going to get to work on my cards right away. :-)
A quick question first, how long do you estimate it takes for the cards to get to international PTers?
Depends on the country. Mexico, Guatamala, probably 6 weeks. Europe is via air maila nd quite fast, a week?
I already received my first card! From England, from one of my mum's friends. She still thinks they send the mail by ship, and is always the first one I receive. :)
I'll send the first ones next week from London. In Germany we have that stupid rule that cards that are bigger or smaller than standard cost about double. Now all non-EU countries cost already abour 1.50 standard, so the other formats (which occur often in X-mas cards) would be 3 per card!
As I am in London next week I'll send them from there;)
done!
I finished all of my international cards on the list and a few that weren't on the list as well. I plan on mailing them out tomorrow morning.:)
Then I plan on doing a few cards each night from the list until I'm done. I don't want to mail these out too early so I'll probably wait until after the Thanksgiving holidays before I mail them.;)
Dang, I hate being a guy!
I have to do all the stuff that I could share with my wife or SO....
LOL, Mom would do the writing and dad would lick the envelopes.
So I sent y'all some DNA along with the card!
NOW, THAT SHOULD WRECK YOUR CHRISTMAS SPIRIT!:D:rolleyes::eek:
I have a handful to go and dropped off a few yesterday, did more last night and have more or less 10 to go!:D

Next year can we start the swap in JULY?:D
Oh, RICHARD, you tart! Sharing your DNA with the whole world! How are ANY of us supposed to feel special??? :p:D
Well, I received my first card...thanks Richard! (loved the Tony pop up:D)
I haven't even started on my cards:eek:
I mailed all the out of country ones yesterday. Will hold the rest until after Thanksgiving.
I have to sit out this year because of finances. It was a lot of fun last year, though!
My first card came today. Thanks, Richard and Ed.:D
The only cards I have mailed so far are the ones to Australia, Mexico and Guatemala.
Does anyone know how much postage will be for the non U.S. people participating in the swap? I want to get those sent out soon. I looked at the postal service site but cannot see where to go to get the info?
use the link I posted.. it states all info needed ;) ... itīs on the first post first page

Wow! I received my first card today. Thanks Richard - you sure are on the ball!
I haven't participated on the forum much this year due to computer problems but I so much enjoy the Christmas card swap.
It is easiest to take them to the Post Office. There is one price for Europe and UK, another for Canada/Mexico/Guatemala, and another for New Zealand and Australia.
Sorry, can't remember if all those countries are in the PT swap, I am participating in more than one card swap.
I feel really bad because now I don't know if I'll be able to get them all mailed out in time, if ever. You can take my name off the list if you want to, I guess. I have some cards made but not all and I'm not sure if I can afford international shipping now even though I could have when I signed up. I'm also moving away before Christmas but I'm sure if any make their way here my dad will put them all in a bigger envelope and send them.
So I guess if you have extra, you can send me one but you may not get one in return.
Got Richard's today!!!!!! Thanks, I needed a little pick me up!
I got mine addressed (all except for wenisrubber). That should count for something. :p Signing tonight. In the mail tomorrow... maybe...hopefully.
I received my first card yesterday from Richard and Ed. Thanks so much for the cute card.:) I still haven't started on the rest of my cards yet though.:o
:) Yes I got my Lovley Card yesterday from Richard Rebel & the Ed.. many thanks == I will be doing mine over the holidays..
DONE!
I just have a handful of non-PT members to go and I am done with all my cards......:D
Last year I panicked toward the end!
Got all the international ones in the mail Friday and got all my "States" ppl in the mail this morning. And it's not even Thanksgiving yet. :D I'm good. Not as good as Richard but still good.
I got Freedoms card yesterday :)
Hey, I have an idea that Captain's post brought to mind. Could those of you outside the US just keep track of how long each card took to get to you? That way, we will have a better-than-official-estimates idea for next time! :)
I finished all of my cards on the list Sat. night.:) I then worked on some other PT cards that weren't on the list and now I only have about 13-15 more cards to do. Then I'll be all done. I won't mail these until Dec.1st or so because I don't want them to get to you too early.;)
Well... I just ordered my photo cards two days ago.
I should have them monday next week at the latest (thanksgiving and all)
Once I get them I will be addressing them and sending them out ASAP :)
My cards were ready weeks ago. But I am still working on writing the addresses and a personal note! I will try to get everything to the PO this week :D
