I understand concatulations are in order but can somebody fill me in? I have no idea what the excitement is over...except we apparently have another wonderful kitty in the states, lol.
Until I'm filled in I'll just follow suit and say...
Welcome to the U.S Ally!

Fuzzybuns, here's the original thread:

Because of that, we started a fundraiser and raised all the funds needed to get Ally out of Bahrain and to a safe foster home with our very own Jenn_librarian.
Hope that helps a little.

It's really a miracle! When you go back and read Julie's first post, it seems that the worst was going to happen. Instead, it's a happy time now because Ally is safe and will be well-cared for and loved until they can be reunited again.
This is such a wonderful place. I'm so lucky I found it!
-
Thank you! I went back and read it all and I have to say that's it's such a heartwarming story...so nice of everyone to pull together and get it done!
Everyone involved has a special spot on God's knee...

Oh let me kiss those spots on your nose, Ally.
You look fantastic for all that you have been through!
Thanks for taking the time to take pictures of Ally. And again, thanks
for all you are doing for her.
Julie - you have good friends here in the USA............and all is well with your fur babies. Now we want to hear more good news from you that all is well
there too.

She looks SOOOOOOOOOOO content and relaxed!! :) :) How wonderful is that!
I can't wait to meet her (and Cheryl) tomorrow! {yes, I am able to go along after all} woo hoo!!
-
Oh Ally, if only you knew how many folks have been involved both physically and in prayers an good thoughts to look out for you = you would realize what a special kitty you are! But then, by the looks of your recent pics, you may just consider it your due, being so lovely.
I am so happy for you girl.
-
Well, hello there, Ally girl! Looks like our world traveler is taking everything in stride. :D
-
More beautiful than I have ever seen her. WELCOME TO USA ALLY!!!!
-
Hey - how about a collection to get Julie and her family to a safe home? :)
I really pray that things turn around for them soon!
Julie - hope you are glad to see that Ally looks just SO DARN PRETTY and relaxed!
You can focus on your own situation for now - your fur(less) babies are in very good hands.
HUGS and please keep us posted.
-
Ally Baby- now here's a content kitty :) With a nice lap to cuddle on- and Ally absolutely convinced it's her lap :D
Now when Julie and family will be safe the world will have made a tiny little spin to the better.
-
"Someone" looks right at home, thank you very much. :p Congrats on your successful journey!
-
Ally, sweetheart, I guess you're over your jet lag because you look right at home. What a beautiful face! All of us love you!!!
-
Ally is almost home!!! Jennie and I met up with Cheryl, half way, and Jennie just left Charlie and me off at our house. Just a few more minutes and Ally will be checking out her new accomondations. :)
She was a perfect angel in the car. And what a LOVELY cat she is in person.
Cheryl, it was terrific meeting you! :D Love your beautiful hair.
I told Jennie to hurry up and take/post pictures!
-
Thanks Jen, for letting us know. I can't wait to see a photo of Ally in Jenn_librarian's home! Didn't she look great in her last photos? :D
-
:) :) Truely heartwarming!!!! I can't wait to see more photos! :)

Thats great knowing that Ally came from far across the ocean to her new Furr Ever Home.
And does he look happy and relaxed after that trip.
I think the Pet Angels told him that something good was going to happen to him today.
-
Well I made it home in one piece. It seems that Ally is not such a good navigator and we got lost meeting with Jenn, Jen, and Charlie. I guess since neither Ally nor I had ever been there it just made it worse. Unfortunately everyone else had to wait about 40 minutes for us (sorry).
It was great to meet everyone and I hope Ally adjust quickly with the new "horde".

Ally is resting and getting acclimated to her new digs at the moment. There are two other kitties in the room with her, because at this point I have no "vacancies" in Casa de Jennie. She's been skirting around the perimeter of the room, sniffing everything out, climbed on the chairs, the bookshelves, the computer desk... she seems to like to be up high to observe everything.
She's really long and lanky! It's interesting to see her next to the other two up there. I'd love to leave them out so that she can have the room to herself, but Autumn was just spayed yesterday and I don't want her running around the house, and Calloway still needs his meds, and if I let him out of the room, I won't find him for 3-5 days. He's a hider, and that's not good!
Ally hasn't wanted to eat yet, she's walked in and out of the litter boxes on her investigations, and curled up in a smaller cat carrier that is by a window. I have both windows in the room open, so there's some nice, fresh air going through. Calloway is in the one window "talking" not too nicely to a stray cat outside (seems the stray from the porch has found his way to the 2nd story roof, and sits there and meows to anyone inside, lol).
I'll try to get some decent pictures of her tonight. The lighting in there isn't fantastic. Ally is such a gorgeous girl, and is letting me pet her, but isn't fond of being held (Cheryl told me that one, and of course I tried it anyway, lol).
Ok, be back in a bit... have to go see if I can get some pics. Was taking a nap earlier, cause my eyes were tired from driving.
Oh, and I didn't care that Cheryl was late, because it was gorgeous outside, and we got to watch all the motorcycles going by in Carlisle.
-
It WAS a gorgeous day, and I didn't mind the wait at all. The time passed quickly any how.
-
You are ALL just too wonderful. A thank you from the bottom of my heart for this beautiful girl who deserves to be loved and well cared for.
