Earlier this summer was my first really really big (and long overdue) purchase in a long time -- an I-Mac computer and the Adobe Creative Suite software. I'm loving it! No more crashes in the middle of a project...no more "running low on disk space" messages, and not one "do not have enough free space to save file". (I do illustrations) It's heavenly!
Since I also work in a clothing store, I buy way way way too much clothing, but the new things are so cute, and I get such good deals... :rolleyes: (most recent- 2 vests and a variety of t's.)
For the rest of this year I will sending most of my "spare" money to my son at Ohio State. Study hard, kid.

Well i'm looking for a Roxy purse on ebay now. I just don't want one that too big or expensive. I was keep it under $25, so next time I get some money i'll just have to pay a bit of my own money. :D

Labor day weekend I'm taking Amtrak back to Iowa for my grandpa's 80th birthday bash. Evidently it's going to be big- I know at least my whole family will be there, even all the out-of-state people. This last weekend (Tues/Wed for me) Eric and I rented a cabin in the rockies with the pups. It was relaxing. :)

Haven't bought much recently. The last things I've bought were related to school and PotC. I got two Jack notebooks, and a Will Turner notebook and folder. I also got a messenger bag from Claire's with a picture of Jack saying 'I love Jack'. I need to get a pic of it. I've been looking on e-bay and hottopic.com for PotC shirts though...

I'm so jealous! I really want to see Wicked, Alexa was able to see it a while ago when she was in NY with her family. It is coming to Phoenix next month, but tickets sold out the same day they went on sale! I guess I'll have to wait until the next time it tours. We saw the Lion King two weeks ago and I loved it, we were also able to see Avenue Q when we were in London.

I'm jealous too! I wanna see Wicked! I saw the local drag queen show version of it, it was awesome. ;)

My last purchase was gas for the car. Our gas prices have gone down and I only had to pay $1.02/litre. ;) I remember when it was 39.9.

I don't splurge on anything for myself because I'm tucking away every spare penny I have for a trip next year. ;)

I'm going to see Wicked in october for my sisters sixteenth birthday. It looks okay, but we'll have to wait and see. I'll let you know how it is, if you would like to know. :)

One of my best friends has a Wicked Obsession.. :p.

I think the last thing I bought was TV Guide.. I only bought it for the Lost CD in it lol.

I can say I am "obsessed" with "Wicked". It was wonderful. My husband agrees. I am having the poster we bought (which I protected all the way home) framed. Will hang it in a place of honor. Scott downloaded the soundtrack for me, too, so I can listen to the music. It really was fun. I have seen Broadway plays, the travelling ones, here in Greenville, but this was the real thing! And we loved it. We also paid dearly for it, but it was worth it.

Today I spent $3 on a bus to and from the farm for more pre-job stuff. Johny Red (calf) has gotten so big! He's weaned now. :D

I spent about $20 on scrapbooking stuff today, some cool doggie paper, a new album and some stickers :D. Plus the vet bill i paid, and the Flyball $$s i have to pay in the morning... good way to blow $250 in 2 days :eek:.

today i went to petsmart and got:
iams cat food,fish magazine,fish net,water cleaner,and a small iams wet pouch i also got greenies .5oz of free with a coupon :)

The other day I paid board for Rowdy and my phone bill.
I only have $15 left so I'm only buying food.
But I'm getting paid on Tuesday so I'm sure there will be a big list of stuff.

I bought lots of food for the dogs today. I bought: buffalo tripe, lamb tripe, lamb heart, lamb liver, turkey, chicken, pheasant, goat, sole, elk, ostrich, veggies, beef bones, and turkey bones.

It's kinda funny.. when I go shopping for dog food, I throw anything in the basket without looking at the price first. But when it comes to buying things for myself, I'll go back and forth for a while before deciding on whether or not I should splurge and spend $5 on something. :p

It sure is cool to see what other people buy. For me, I am forever buying groceries for some reason. I have stopped buying frozen food and junk snacks so we go through food a lot faster since I buy only fresh food. I'm at the grocery store every weekend. :( Ah well, one has to eat right and at least it's not crap food. I do treat myself to a pedicure every 2 weeks, that's my splurge for myself. I haven't went clothes shopping in a long time. Bills suck! :( :mad: :o I live vicariously through everyone else's purchases, lol.

I recently bought my homecoming dress and shoes! :D

I really should have waited for Wednesday - when they offer an extra 15% off for us old folks. We went to the mall today and I went crazy! I bought a lot of stuff, all of it related to PotC, except for one Naco Libre button. Ok...this is what I got: two t-shirts, one is of Jack and the other one says 'dead men tell no tales' and has all these pirate-y things on it; i then got two buttons a cloth wristband saying 'I luv pirates' aaand a keychain of Jack. I wanted to buy more but I didn't have enough money :p I guess I'll just wait until my birthday.

This week I bought groceries, 20 pounds of Nutro cat food and about 60 pounds of cat litter. I also treated myself and bought 2 white t-shirts, a pair of brown capris, a pair of fuzzy sock, a pair of slippers all on clearance at Target for a grand total of $24.

Last week we did some home improvements and bought new light fixtures for the dining room and two bathrooms. We've been planning to do it for 3 years and finally found the lights we wanted. On top of that I went back in to Lowes where I got the lights and they had marked the dining room light down $20 and they refunded the difference - Woo Hoo!!!!

Next big purchase is a new entry door with glass so we can lighten up the foyer a bit.

I love Targets clearance prices. Whenever I go I have to browse all their clearance ares, you can get the best deals. I went grocery shopping today and bought tons of food.

After much thought and browsing i bought myself a DVD today (Little Nikita, River Phoenix, Sidney Poiter etc), some more scrapbooking stuff and a nice smelly thingy for the car :).

I bought a Betta, tank and all needed supplies!! He is going to be one spoiled fishy! I was very excited, I'm so used to always taking care of something at home (dogs, cats, guinea pigs and gecko) I reeeeeeeeally needed something here at school.

Haha, I actually don't have a camera here ( :mad: ) so there won't be any pictures anytime soon, unfortunately. He's gorgeous though, he's peachy/orangeish color with red spots on his fins! :D

Other than groceries to prepare some special meals for my family, we did a trip to Home Depot, on Sunday. We bought Portland Cement, Sand and some tools to try to make some garden crafts, Hypertufa, and concrete birdbaths. I know that sounds pretty boring to some, but it was something Scott and I had been wanting to try for a long time. We did it yesterday, so we'll see what happens!
