Sweetheart, I'll volunteer the Colbalt, there's a lot of them out there and it will blend in (if I take off all of the "go steelers" magnetic signs), and I'll get him LOST!Quote:

The way I job hunt is just like every one else . Just keep pestering the ones you really want. I'm concintrating on the bakery , video store, and deli's. Going to try the local groomer for bathing dogs. UNlike the rest of you I only need 20-30 hours a week just to pay my cell bill and car payment (only 2 left) and goof off money . I will most likely be baby sitting for my grandbaby when daughter goes back to work. I don't really have to work hubby makes enough but I started those 2 bills I want to take care of them . Plus i hate asking for money from him ,makes me feel like when I was a kid asking dad for money.YUCK I hated that.
Good luck to all job hunters and prayers you find the purrfect jobs.
I've been at my job almost 20 years and I still love it (most of the time  ). I started here as a temp through an agency. Many of my co-workers did also. Nothing wrong with that even if it doesn't end up being "the one". It's a little money in the account and shows you job skills you may not even be aware of. Good luck!
OH yes, spa day PLEASE!! I'm all over that one!
Slick? Never had cornbread? That's ok. I've actually never had a smore.
Anyone else? What's a "common" food you've never tried?
Happy Thursday everyone!
There's no common food that I know of that I have not tried - I even had a bite of haggis when I was in Scotland, and jellyfish tentacles when I was in China!
Okay, Tonya, if ever we met, I'll make you s'mores, made properly, of course!
And Slick, make yourself some cornbread! It's scrumptious, and if you don't like it, you can wait til it's stale and then break it up and feed it to the ducks/geese/whatever wildfowl you have thereabouts!
I now have food allergies, so there's some things I can no longer eat without getting sick, but other than that, I'm pretty culinarily adventurous - as are all ma's kids! :)
There are movies I've never seen that "everyone" has, like "It's a Wonderful Life," but that's another Thursday.

What do Jellyfish tentacles taste like, how are they served?
Nope, no peanut butter and jelly fish jokes..... :D
... tastes like chicken of course  Seriously (??) jellyfish mostly tastes like whatever sause you serve with it or cook it in. Plum sause, soy, peanut (whoa, there's your peanut butter and jelly fish joke, and I didn't even mean it :p )
But I have never eaten peanut butter....or jelly...or peanut butter and jelly. Ick.

Gini, if we're having smores your way, who's going to clean up the mess?
Besides, there aren't enough boys in the pub, so we'd have to throw the graham crackers at the girls!
FOOD FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D
Got any green tea? It's a bit chilly here.
In the process of making home-made potato soup - get your bowls ready!
NO! NOT those type of bowls... :p
I don't think there's a common food, in America atleast, that i've never tried atleast once... and I've got the tummy to prove it. ;)
Frog legs, s'mores, cornbread, McDonalds...
