Do you have any way to check her temperature? How is she acting (is she back to normal)? Are her gums nice and pink?Quote:

Yes but you'll need to stick it up her bum and if you do that I imagine you'll need to get a new one later lol. A dog's normal temp is 101-102 degrees.
ok I will ask my parents, I would hate for them not do know about it and be sick and try it out, But also thanks because I should actually this weeknd by a thermomter, are they usally at petsmart?
I bought my pet thermometer at PetCo. Petsmart probably has them too. I don't know if they have regular, inexpensive ones though. Mine was $50 because it can take their temp from their ear canal rather than their bum ... Mandy doesn't exactly like something entering that area and I don't exactly like doing it either lol. It's also electric. This is what I have.
Thanks, I get paid this weekend so I will try petsmart, then petco. Thanks so much.
Of course! I really like it. I use it after walks and hard playing to make sure my girls aren't overheated. If their temp is high I just wrap a cold, wet towel around them. And if they're acting abnormal I take their temp of course. It's a good thing to have around :)
She definitely wont be totally normal for a while. I can tell you that much from Tink's seizure experiences. Her not moving was probably being in a coma. So she wont be completely normal for a lil while.
ETA:Thermometers that go up a dogs butt(also had this experience  ) they arent fun to use. :p

Aww Rusty thats so romantic!
If it was a seizure, the last stage (post-ictal) lasts anywhere from 1 hour to 2 days. Hope she gets better soon, you are in my thoughts.

Oh no I am just seeing this. I am glad to hear that she is improving but it sounds like she should really be looked at by a vet.
How is she today?
