I too, live by philosoph's, everything happens for a reason - already told you that. ;) without a struggle, there is no progress. and god won't make a mountain that you can't climb - looking up at a biiig snowy, cloudy unsure mountain you have to reach can be so stressful!
looks like you've already made a good decision, quit and do what you love!! I remember you mentioned the vet office you used to work for before, is that one only two miles from you? I wish you luck!! let me (us) know the moment you hear "you're hired!" :D
and I know you won't want to hear this because it's last thing you ever want to do but to keep this in mind - whatever, whatever happens that you couldn't take care of your critters, I will take them in. I hope we won't ever need to think about it! (except would love to fuzzysit your fuzzdolls sometimes someday).. :D
