I would work on lighting in your pictures a little more... its not bright enough. Put two lamps or so in the room in front of you to light up your face.
Yes, we can take our own pictures. Basically, we just turn in a picture to the yearbook staff and they put it in. As long as it's good quality and not offensive, it can go in. Because we're seniors, we're the only ones allowed to do this, but I can't justify paying $300 for pictures *I* don't want! :)
