((((((hugs)))))) good thoughts and prayers coming your way. At least you will get a better idea what if anything is going on after the ultrasound. Try not to worry!

Poor you, Kimmy. I feel your worry. I had endometriosis for years before it was properly diagnosed. There are lots of new meds and methods today that don't involve surgery. After my laproscopy, I opted for BC pills, as much as I hated taking them, but the result was amazing. Lots of prayers that you feel better soon .
Yeah, my surgery a few years ago diagnosed the Endo. I've been taking BC pills back to back to control the pain and it's been helping a lot.Quote:

But even then the doc said I might have to have another surgery in the future to "clean me out", so to speak.
Thing is, both my doc and I know that Endo does not show up on an ultrasound, so if he felt something suspicious and wants to do an ultrasound....one wonders. :\
But I'm not overly stressed. I've just got fingers crossed that it's nothing. :)
Hmmm sharp pain..lower right abdomen could also be apendix!   Unless of course it's already been removed. Better safe than sorry, and sure hope THAT was brought up. Not anything to mess with when it comes to the appendix. ;) :(
on the way for you Kimmy!
Geesh, I could swear my Endo was finally diagnosed by an ultrasound (32 oz of water!) as well as an exam cause they thought it was the Big C at first, that's how bad it was, hence my surgery. Plus I passed out on the street in downtown Philly once from the pain. Mine was on my other organs as well so they couldn't do anything. I was so lucky that the BC pills worked. I had some lumps too but they were nothing. I'm sure yours are nothing too! Let me tell you, one benefit of aging is having the "spigots" turned off for good! I did a happy dance! I just had a hysteroscopy to check for cervical cancer as I had had cells removed, but I'm fine. What we women don't have to fo through. Better to be safe than sorry, Kimmy. I know in my heart you'll be just fine!
Nope, not my appendix! It was so badly wrapped up by endo that they removed it along with the endo tissue in my last laproscopic surgery. :DQuote:

So thankfully I don't have to worry about that rupturing. :)
My ultrasound came back a-okay.
He suspected the lump near my ovary was my colon but wanted to do an ultrasound to make sure. Sure enough... it was! It was full of "stuff" when I had my annual exam, hence the lumpiness.
I'm full of s**t as my dad puts it. ;)
Thanks for all the good vibes! Ya'll are the best. *HUGS*
:D
