This is true! I lost nearly 50 lbs in about 6 months simply by eating less. I followed weight watchers, but the idea is the same. I still ate all my normal foods, I will admit to adding some healthier meals to my diet, but I ate less. I still ate my ice cream, I just measured out a proper serving instead of sitting in front of the tv with the carton. Since I still ate what I wanted I didn't really crave anything which kept me from binge eating. It's been nearly 6 months now and I've been able to maintain my weight with no problem because I've learned how to eat smaller portions and I don't miss anything.
