How do folks make the text heart and other symbols??

You gotta ♥ these little symbols. They are sooo cute !!!

I always wondered how to do that &heart;

Anyone please feel free to call me stupid but how are you getting the heart?:( Sorry to be so dumb.

you don't need the img tags just type &hearts ; without the space in the text box.
