It's very hot this evening and I could use something to cool down. Maybe I'll make a pitcher of slushies and see who else shows up.

I'm late checking in today. Had a lovely phone conversation with someone abroad early this morning, then fed the kids and went back to bed. :o A real lazy day for me today but need to get to work soon.

Ladies, how does 28 feel???
Spaking of beer, Liz and Oggy...Last week I was at the butcher's counter and asked one of the guys what kinda beer was good for today.......
He gave me the name of a Mexican ale called Negra Modelo (Black Model) It is delicious, When you take a drink it you only taste it on your tongue...DUH!!!
It's hard to explain....after you take a drink the flavor sticks to your tongue. It's really bizarre but a great tasting beer....

Since we have had so many birthdays, I've made another cake. Sould have made two in the first place! It's free for everyone!! No quarters required. :D
