Harry Potter Discussion Thread. Spoiler Alert.

I really agree, and like the polyjuice potion theory.
I do believe Dumbledore is completely dead lol.
I also believe that Harry will die in the end. JKR has made CERTAIN that everybody knows there are ONLY 7 books. If he dies, there wouldn't be anything more to write about. Think about it. If he lives, everyone will be left wondering and all. Maybe she'll explain a few things, but I for one would be completely disappointed if she told the main character's lives in a chapter. If Harry dies, then it's done. I think Ron should have died in the 6th book. I, too, like him a lot, but I also think it would be meaningful for him to die. However, not in the same book as Harry does. Which will be the 7th haha. Just my thoughts. (For now, they change all the time when it comes to Harry Potter).

I'm such a sap that if Harry does die, I literally will be bawling my eyes out for days!

I understand completely. Although there were several special effects in the third one, it wasn't the center of the movie (one of the big problems I also find in the new star wars movies). Although there were some cheesy scenes that I had a hard time stomaching, but for the most part I thought it carried more of the feel of the book than the others.

Wasn't Fawks the only Phoenix alive, and aren't Phoenixes loyal to their owners for life, and aren't they reborn from their ashes? I thought Harry saw a phoenix fly from the flames of Dumbledor's body. This is the way Jo usually leaves hints, so do you think it is just wishful thinking that Dumbledor is a Phoenix?

I kind of agree with you. I think there's something more to Dumbledore and Fawkes's bond than we know.

And why was the Order called the Order of the PHOENIX? I mean, it could have just been a kind of code name thing, but I think theres something special about Fawkes.
