I don't know much about your situation, but I do know about depression from my own experience with it. People say that proper diet, exercise, and vitamins can help, but it is not nearly enough. Having no insurance makes it that much worse. Talk to your doctor and see if there are any free/low cost clinics near you. Also, if you are in college or went to college, and you live close to the campus, there should be a counselor on staff that can help you for free, even if you don't go there anymore. If you need help, or need to talk, please send me (or someone else) a message. Don't let yourself get too low, I know exactly how that feels. You think you'll always feel that way and you'll never come back up. Asking for help is the first step. Let me know if you need anything!
Wondering how you are feeling - any better???
Dread about falling back into deep depression is very scary! I have never again fallen back there, but the fear is real.
Those setbacks will happen now and then and may be normal "blues" and not depression at all:) Memories of that horrible darkness makes us think we may be headed back there - but I think you will find that this is temporary and you WILL bounce back. ((((JEN))))
If you really feel the need - I think it is likely that your doctor will adjust your dose or possibly add something to the recipe - over the phone....especially if you explain your temporary lack of insurance. He may even offer office samples for you to pick up. If he does not already know the "fix" you are in at present, I would let him know. Just the worry about insurance, etc - can add to the depression and he would probably want to know this.
But again - what is happening is more than likely short lived:D
Jen, I'm late as usual! I'm so sorry to hear that your feeling sad and down. Depression is such a horrible thing.
Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that since I was so late that maybe you are feeling a bit better.
{{{HUGS}}} to a great person!:)
{{{Hugz}}} to you. Is there some kind of hobby (gardening, making a puzzle, crafts) that you enjoy doing? Sometimes a distraction's all you need. I hope your doctor will work with you; mine has helped me when I wasn't working.
I'm glad to see that you are feeling better today Jen. :)
