Tonya, just wondering how Sara is doing after her surgery.
I hope all went well with the surgery.
I'll be praying for Sara, Zip. :(
Her surgery wasn't until 1.30pm-ish and I was quite surprised they let us bring her home; I felt for sure they'd make her stay overnight. The anesthesia has made her sooooo sick... :(
Initially, we gave her small amounts of water wich she kept down. She was acting hungry (hadn't ate in almost 24 hrs) so we gave her less than 1/2 of what she normally eats. She threw that up and hasn't been able to keep anything down since. She's pretty dazed and keeps whining... not sure if that's because she's disoriented or in pain.
The tumor on her leg was sent off for (another) biopsy. They found another lump during surgery (on her side) and removed that; thankfully, it was just one of those "fatty" cyst things.
Thank you guys for all the well-wishes and prayers! Not sure when to expect the biopsy results but will let you know what we find out.
I'll be praying hard for good news when the tests come back.
Give Sara gentle kisses for me. Poor girl...anesthesia can really make them feel icky. :(
gentle hugs to sweet Sara.
:)
THANKS, God!!
(Guess we furgotz ta 'mention' da Uppyset problem wiffa
laffing gas... but we kan deal wiff dat.)

Glad to hear Sara made it through everything a-okay. Hope the results coming back is good news
I hope Sara is feeling better today. Glad to hear her surgery went well and that the second lump was nothing! Get well soon Sara.
Glad to hear Sara is home. I hope the upset tummy is better soon. That surgery stuff can really make you feel punky!
Maybe just feeding her a bite or two at a time will help.
Prayers will continue!
Hope Sara is feeling better today. Prayers that all are benign.
GOOOOOODDDDD NEEEWWWSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!
The tumor was, in fact, benign! :D
The results revealed that, while there were a few round cells, the 'bump' was just that... a bump!
I can't recall the "big" name but he said he usually only sees on these on younger dogs. Normally, the white blood cells attack it and it goes away on it's own. However with boxers, he recommends testing and/or removing any bump.
THANK YOU GUYS for your prayers!!!!!!! :D
Great News!!! Congrats to you and Sara!
What excellent news! :D I'm so happy! And I bet you are relieved as well! Good job Sara, you sure are a fighter!
Now how about some pics to celebrate? ;) :p
