Ladys Human- sounds familiar! We had 5 1/2 foot icicles on our roof. I knocked one down and it was taller than me, and I am 5 feet tall. It was probably about 4 inches thick too and 10 inches around. We had 52 inches of snow on the ground and it didn't completely melt until after Easter in April. It was NUTS! We a snow pile so large in front of our cottage (from plowing the driveway), I would climb to the top then step onto the roof! Praying that will happen again some day soon!
When spring came, the lake at our cottage started to melt, and there were ICEBERGS in the river. Looked like we were in Antartica. It was INSANE! It was really cool to see. I have pictures, I will post them some time soon.
No snow here. I don't mind one bit. :)
Yep, it snows here but not very often and I LOVE it!!
Yes, it snows but the weather has been really weird where its been really warm and melting it. Then it gets really cold and then we don't have any snow. I would like it more if it was really cold AND it snowed, cause then you would have something to think the cold was for - to keep the snow from melting! :p
The forecast for tonight says we're supposed to get our first snow of the year! I'm so excited! It "looks" like snow out there too. The kids of course are hoping that tomorrow will be a snow day, but not hubby... he is supposed to get off Thursday to start the holidays, but if it snows and they close schools - he'll have to go in on Thursday!
I was looking for the HELL YEAH, but I hate it.
Yup! It actually started to snow last night. But it didn't snow enough to go sledding or anything....:(
It's snowing right now!
We have about 2" on the ground right now, in Pittsburgh! I drove 3 mph home from church! I had to go down one steep road and up another. I'm staying home and be on PT!
Heck yeah!! Hate the cold, hate the snow but would probably be bored to tears in a place where the weather stays the same all year long.
It's unusual if we don't get snow at least 3-4 times every winter... hasn't snowed yet this year though.
Haha, I like that idea. :) Maybe I would like snow IF it was warm out and the snow wasn't so cold!:DQuote:

We're mostly no snow. It varies though. We can go several years without hardly any snow then we'll have a year with one or two feet of snow.
Last year we had a week with some great snow. So of course we had to gather the cats and toss them in the snow to get their opinions. Joxer absolutely loved it, Sid was neutral, and Jan absolutely hated it.
The last snow that fell in lost angeles feel right after the day I was born.......
God was trying to kill my parents for having me.
Anyway, should there be ANY snow here in the Los Angeles basin life as we know it would end within 5 minutes...
Accidents would close the freeways and we would all panic for not being able to drive.
