Mutts definatley! I've seen way more mutts than purebreds around our area.
mutts, border collies, boxers, labs
Dachshunds - there's a little side street I refer to as Dachshund Corner, I have seen a smooth-coat black and tan one, a blue merle one, a red long-haired one, a small red smooth-coat - all from this little area. Besides that, mutts!, a husky and a Yorkie! There are two miniature poodles, but they're never out of their yard, so I hear more than see them.
Well , for the most part round here it's Pekineses and shi tzus but that is not suprising as I live China LOL! At my home in Canada though it is mostly Labs,GSDs and mixes thereof.
Where I live......GERMAN SHEPARDS...but that could be because I live in Germany...lol Also wennie dogs and mixed wennies.
Labs and Goldens.
My Giant is an extremely rare breed. I only know of one other in the area.
Actually in our whole area of the state the most comman is Border Collies, Australian Cattle Dogs, and BC/Australian Shepherd mixes. We are in a rural area; most people have dogs just to work the livestock.
The most common dogs just for pets in the area would probably be labs, lab mixes, and mutts.
We still don’t have many pure breeds in the Faroes, but we do have a lot of sheep, so local sheepdogs is the most common dog around.

Huh...That's weird. I'm guessing you live in a wealthier area? I've been to China several times for months to visit my family (the ones who refuse to move), and I've *never* seen a pet dog. Of course, my family members are not rich and probably could not afford a dog. The children don't want one anyways...Quote:
