:( I am so sorry to hear that this happened. I couldn't believe it when I read it. Poor Bassett has been though so much, and she's been so lucky to have such a good life with loving owners.

I can only imagine how hard this must be for you ... Bassett was special to us all and we'll always remember her.

Dear Naomi - Oh sweetheart I'm crying as I type {{{Hugs}}} to you across the many miles - I wish I could give you a cuddle. You must be hurting so much. I can't believe dear Bassett has gone - no more pics of that beautiful furgirl - all you and she went through. The love you gave her helped her through I'm sure.
From the description she didn't suffer at all - God bless her.

There be a very special new start shining in heaven tonight and looking down to make sure her dearly loved Meowmie is coping without her.

OH I am sooo incredibly sorry!!!! This just brings tears to my eyes. RIP Bassett. You were so loved and so lucky in life...you had such a great furmom and she is going to miss you so much. And Naomi was so lucky to have such a special kitty as you are.
