Oh you poor things!! I hope things are going well for Cirrus today and you can take him home tonight.
I know you would have done what was needed, but it is always nice to find out that it is less expensive then you first thought. Try to find the good things.:D
I know that Cirrus will come through his surgery just fine.:)
Continued prayers for for your little boy.
Also big {{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}} to all of you.
I just saw this thread. Prayers are out for Cirrus.
We keep our fingers and paws crossed! Won't stop:)
God I hate the waiting game!!! All fingers, toes, and paws crossed that everything will be OK.
Oh, Tracey, I'm so sorry to hear about Cirrus!
I missed this thread. Big hugs to you - I'm sorry that the surgeon couldn't do the surgery. It's so stressful when things like this are delayed.
Will be thinking of you both today and sending positive thoughts for Cirrus's surgery.
Keeping the thoughts and prayers going for sweetheart Cirrus.

Tracey, I am concerned about Cirrus... please give us an update!
poor Cirrus...and so young. Hopefully his youth will help with a quick recovery. I know it's hard not to worry. Thinking positive healing thoughts for the baby.
Hi everyone. Cirrus had his surgery today and everything went very well.:) I had a consultation with my vet tonight at 7:15pm but he was behind schedule so it was more like 8pm so I didn't get home until around 9pm.
Cirrus is still bleeding a little bit from surgery so we decided that I should plan on taking him home on Friday instead. Although the vet won't be working tomorrow, there will be a vet tech there to give Cirrus his meds and food and water. He has to be on antibiotics once a day and pain medication twice a day for the next 7 days. I decided to give it to him in the form of a shot because I thought it would be easier since he's wearing the e-collar. He has to wear the collar for 2 weeks and has already managed to get out of it once so far. If he does get it off, I have to take him to the vet asap so his stitches can be checked. He goes back for a recheck next Friday.
Cirrus looked very unhappy and uncomfortable.:( He also looked like he was mad at me. I sure hope that he'll realise that I've only been trying to help him. Sunny misses him very much and Sky has been acting up a lot more than usual so I think he also misses him. Storm, on the other hand, has been in heaven. I bought a baby gate to block off a small area for Cirrus and a low opened litter pan and some yesterdays news litter.
Thanks for all of your well wishes and concerns. Please wish me luck because these next 2 weeks are going to be very long.
Thanks for the update, Tracey! HUGS and gentle pets for sweet Cirrus!!!! :)
Tracey, I'm so glad to hear it went well. :) I remember how it was with Fister, so I don't envy you. In fact, I'm glad Fister stayed for the first few days at the vets and we didn't see him.
I hope Cirrus will keep his collar on. It is really important that he can't get to his behind! It's a good idea to confine him to a small area, so he can't run around.
All the best of luck and scritchies. :) Thanks for the update.
I am so happy to hear Cirrus is ok:)
Fister now is ok for 1,5 years, so this seems to be a very effective surgery.
However the recovery time will be tough. I don't want to think about how it would work with my two rambunctious boys and wish you all the best: It will be over and he will be fine:)
