The only thing Grover is guilty of stealing is your HEART!!! And that is the only crime she has committed. Aren't you lucky! This kittens parents are a brown and white female that carries the solid gene and a solid red, (not a red tabby) male, but he does show tabby markings. Here is a picture of the Dad.
Stella
Stella he is just beautiful and fluffy. Are all Maine coons like that? Will the little tortie have fluffy fur like him?
I want her!! too!!!:)
She is amazing , that one with her literally climbing the wall , should be a COTD shot!
Grover is such a little cutie. I love those long whiskers!
Here are a couple more Pictures.

Aw, she is just too cute for words! She is a beautiful and very lucky little girl. How can you say she doesn't post for photos - poses don't come much better than this!

Now I have a suggestion, but please don't take it the wrong way. This is by no means a judgement of your cleanliness or anything like that because this is a problem that none of us can get away from.....but I've found that putting a rug under the litterbox somewhat helps to contain the litter that gets tracked out onto the floor. Notice though, that I say it somewhat contains it, because I really don't think there's anything available that will totally contain it. At the very least, it hides it a bit. ;) I've got 3 litterboxes in the basement, each with a rug underneath, and sometimes it seems like the entire basement is covered in litter  so there's no way you're going to eliminate it completely.
Ok, after all of that, remember it's just something that has somewhat worked for me, Grover is just so adorable. I just love all those baby pics of her, and can't believe she was so tiny when your daughter found her. I also can't believe those boys were mistreating such a tiny, tiny defenseless creature. I wish the same for them someday. Give Grove hugs and smoochies from me for being such a sweetie. :D
Tubby & Peanut's Mom, believe me I can use some suggestions in that area, because sometime she thinks her box should be perfect and sometime she digs it out onto the floor. She does not allow her litter box to be kept anywheres but right in the living room with me!
So I apprciate every and I mean every and any suggestions that you can give me, if you have anymore please, please feel free to offer me all that you have. Grover is a very spoiled baby, I need all the help I can get. Thanks for that suggestion, I never thought of it. That is a fantastic idea!:)
What size do you suggest? She usually ends up tracking it on me too! Thanks for your suggestions! And I do not take the wrong way at all.
Thank you very much!
Willie:) and her spoiled brat Grover:)
Another thing she does, and that is she has to have her food bowl on my desk, she has to have her own chair right beside my desk. I keep a little blanket in the chair for the little boss of the house.
I am just happy she doesn't insist on having her water up there too.
Whew! Sometime its tough being owned by a kitty!!!;)
Willie
Cute pictures.
She is lucky that you came into her life.:)
Boy, food on the desk! She is a spoiled kitty! ;) :D But she deserves every bit of it.
As for a suggestion on the rug, I would think if you got one that fits under the entire table, it might look nice and be a functional, and something with a little "nubbiness" to it helps because it "grabs" the litter more than a rug that is just plain flat. The "nubbiness" also helps hid the litter more. ;) Have you tried a covered litterbox? I don't have one of those, but I know others do and it seems it would also somewhat help keep the litter contained - especially when she feels the need to dig to China. ;) :D Although some kitties don't like the covered ones, so that might not be an option for the little princess. ;)
The rugs are relatively easy to clean also. Just either vacuum, or since you have hardwood floors and probably don't vacuum much, just take it outside and shake it out. Although beware, because you'll probably be amazed at how much litter is in the rug. One time I just kept shaking and shaking and shaking and litter was still coming out! I just couldn't get rid of it all.
Good luck and let us know what you find. :)
I have a hooded litter box for Sunny, it has a filter that helps with oders too. It keeps dogs out of it because I turn the door of it towards a corner of the room. I think Sunny likes his privacy. The litter comes out a little in front, but not much.
I don't know if she would go for a covered one or not, but I could try it. I bought one for my RB kitty a few years ago, but she was so old she didn't want any part of it. Grover might love it though.
Grover is one of those that likes to dig to China! She can't stand for her box to get the least bit dirty, she keeps me busy cleaning that box. If I don't clean it when she thinks I should, she start trying to dig it all out in the floor. So she don't give it much time to develop odors. She pretty well has me trained well....
I have never had a cat that bossed me around like she does! Everything has to be her way, or no way at all. I admit I have her spoiled and she is my master! I have to what she tells me to do. ;)
Thanks for all the suggestions, if you have anymore, I am very willing to take all I can get.
Willie:)
