Foam!!!! Welcome to the Collie Club!!!!:)
Ozzy is absolutely gorgeous and what a great name!;)
I just love the blue merles and there's nothing better
than kissing those long Collie noses. I'm just loving
all the pics of him and can't wait for more.
Since you want to do agility with Oz and Collies can be a
lil' timid, I wanted to give you a lil' tip while he's still in this
puppy stage. Socialize, Socialize, Socialize... To people, dogs,
places, noises, surfaces, cars. just anything and everything
you can think of. Also, the one thing I forgot was movement
under his feet. That's really caused us issues with the teeter
totter. You can get a lil' board and put it under a broomstick
so it's not high at all and then just have fun with him running
on it.
Oh and along with Socialize, Socialize, Socialize is Play, Play,
Play... A strong play bond with Oz is going to come in handy when you start actually training for agility. I see a lot of people
that seem to forget agility is a game. It's all about play for the
dog and just having fun with you.
There's a yahoo email list for agility where you can get
tons of good advice, called Clean Run, that you might want to
check out:

You are going to have such fun with this lil' guy. Collies are
just the best. Looking forward to more pics of him as he grows
up.

He is beautiful. CONGRATULATIONS!!
-
Par thank you so much!
Our breeder, Kristen, is so wonderful. She's told us everything about it. She reffered us to a Bark Park only 20 minutes away where tons of dogs go, with a mini agility course! I can try to make him friends, and I will definetly socialize him as much as possible.
We've been playing non stop and this dog is so smart! I was playing around with him outside, running around letting him run after me. We ran around the pool, and I jumped onto the grass and told him down. He stopped, and I pushed his rear end down, and he just put his front end down all by himself!
Shortly after we rested for a couple seconds, I got back up and ran around the pool again with him still following. We got back to the grass, and I told him down again. He layed down!
I cannot wait to start agility with him. His first obediance classes are in January.
:D
Thanks again, Par! I'll keep talking to you.
BTW-I agree...Collies ARE the best. :)

Smart puppy! :D
Yes, socialize in ANY way you can. Unfortunatly, in Molly's case, she has been and always will be fearful of people. :( We got her at around 5 months from a BYB. I don't regret any bit of it. If I did, I would have never ended up with such a great dog. :)
