Actually, it's quite possible. The male must be the small breed because the female must obviously give birth and larger pups would kill her. But it's very possible for a small male and a large female to breed, and happens all the time. Working in rescue I see some VERY unusual combos! :)Quote:

One thing I've definitely learned is that you can't always tell by their looks what breeds they're mixed with. Especially if their ancestors were mixed breeds also. In other words, they may not look anything like their parents, but more like their grandparents.
