You should try to lock away/keep out of reach EVERYTHING and ANYTHING, even if it is kid safe. Let's say the oil was kid-safe (digestion wise), the kid could have opened it up and some of it could have spilled on the floor, the kid not realizing it could slip and fall and smack their head....or the baby could play around with the bottle and get it all over the place, would you want to clean it up? Or another point of view, the object may be kid safe, but it may not be animal safe, what if you have pets in the house? It's just common sense and an extra safe move to try and keep everything out of the baby/toddlers reach.

yeah we have the body shop. its pretty cool. i love that they have no animal testing and fair trade and i think all or most of their stuff doesnt have animal ingredients either. theres signs on the wall at their store that list all those kinds of things that they do/dont do (like the testing, fair trade, etc). i havent purchased anything from them before, but I did ask for an application a while back. haha

I just recieved a mailing from PETA today, with a questionairre to fill out about animal testing, some return address labels (I have soooo many of those), and an informative letter about animal testing.
I don't know if I should send a donation or not--I always donate to the ASPCA, but it is different.

Anyone ever donate to PETA??

haha i got that today too! lol did you get the nickle too? lol yeah ive been meaning to donate to peta for a while now, i tihnk im going to this time. theres a cool thing about peta's donations, you can (at least on their website) select which program you want your donation money to go towards. so lets say you maybe dont want to support the vegetarian campaign, but you want to help abused aniamls, you can choose your money to go to the animal cruety investigation campaign. i always that that was a pretty cool option.

and i got a donation thing & address labels a coupel days ago from the ASPCA. lol

Most people don't think about certain things, so let's not generalize and say it's all common sense. Who would think to keep toys out of a child's reach?
